Soul and spirit is not used synonymously unless you’re trying to fit Scriptures to your doctrine. When God breathed (spirit) into the dirt (body), man became a living soul.
The spirit is the real you that your body houses the soul is your mind
Yes the spirit is our real identity. God is spirit so are we. We are just experiencing this life through our twin brother he is soul and its our body together. The Holy Spirit Beared witness with us already rom 8:15-16 with our spirits in regeneration now he is just conforming our mind being saved

Man does not have a soul, man is a soul. Add the spirit (breath of life) and man becomes a living soul.
I'm not sure he fully addressed even the basic questions? When a person dies, what goes to meet God at that particular point until the resurrection.
Your soul goes to God, you are alive but without body. Philippians 1:23-24 (ESV)
23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.
24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.
Kman he didn't answer he just said there's a fine distinction lol . the Spirit of man is the real us and the soul is our mind / intelect. God is a Spirit true worshippers must do so in spirit and in truth . many other clear verses that differentiate between spirit and soul.

Aaron M ur spirit man. I see that as our soul. I see the soul as the body, In a way. I can remember being a kid feeling like this body was weird! That is only one encounter, I like to think we do go up to God right away. So many say we are sleeping until the lord comes back, which causes more confusion
The body goes to the grave or sheol waiting the first resurrection if you have believe in Christ where you will receive your soul and spirit from god.the second resurrection await s the unbelievers one thousand years later etc.

The Spirit that made each of us a 'living soul' returns to God when we die. WE DO NOT. Our soul SLEEPS. Jesus made that clear. And when Jesus returns the dead in Christ rise first. It does not say, 'And the BODIES of the dead in Christ rise first'. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ [THOSE WHO BELIEVE] shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
If the spirit returns to God, the dead body is either buried or cremated, the soul sleeps. Where will the soul sleeps? Will it sleep inside the dead body? What happens to the soul if the body is cremated?
@@teresatanyag8237 That's a good question. I don't know. Perhaps just asleep in the earth. We were dust before God breathed HIS spirit into us and made us a 'living soul'. Perhaps a 'dead soul' is just dust and becomes something more than that when Christ returns. The idea that our dead loved ones are having a wonderful time in heaven gives many great comfort but I don't believe that bible back up that idea.
THE spirit is tout the human soul attached to the flesh. The soul that comes at conception is the godly soul. If the godly soul manages to elevate the human soul then it will not die with the body

When God made Adam he made him from dirt/dust then breath into him divine inspiration which us Gods Spirit so Adam had a human spirit in him first which came from heaven where he was before this he was concieved from the mind of God then he became a living soul not he now had a soul but no Adam became a living soul. So he was name in God's image 3 but 1. Thats why 1 Thess 5:23 says may your whole body, soul, and spirit be kept blameless untill the coming of the Lord. Remember God told Adam from dust YOU came and the dust YOU shall return. (Notice he said you and not your body) so the soul ceases maybe like a blink. And our spirit goes RETURNS to the Lord where it came from.. (Prexistance) So when Christ returns the Dead shall rise first meet him in the air and boom Glorification..
Someone please, differentiate spirit and soul. Nothing less nothing more, do not neglect the meaning of spirit and do more on soul.

@@vinceohiman5888 spirit, breathed in by God. Soul contains all emotions. When one dies emotion is ended up, spirit goes to God.

It can't be for it is the makeup of man the first academy that is temporary with its will, intellect, and emotions that means the soul is the mind... heart has joy peace happiness; Now the human spirit is different that is the part of man that gets born from above. Advaita Nundoo uh no. Bible says we are given one death, and once to be judged. This is resurrection not reincarnation wherein you are reborn an entirely different entity to live another mortal life. This is one death to a mortal to put on immortality
The soul is eternal. Eternal means it exists for ever. It is not born nor can be it be made to die, to end. Eternal means it exist for ever, so how does it perpetuate its functions, if it is is only given one meager existence on this plane, for 60 - 70 years.. And what happens if that one particular souls is unable to accomplish within this one lifetime, its ultimate purpose to perfect itself and reunite in service with God... One chance in a mortal frame to put on immortality.... Everyone has to hit bulls eye in one shot...
John Robbins .ok I agree to yr angle. I love the fact that Lord Jesus sacrificed for our love. In Vedic terminology, souls who attain perfection by this way are termed. Krpa siddhas. Those who attain salvation from this mortal frame by the lords mercy Or mercy of his rep. Or son.but there is also a process left behind by the Lord that we may follow. All the while still depending on his mercy. Lord Jesus and his instructions are always there. Following him, means following his instructions. Even if he is not physical here. Keeping faith and following will have the same effect. Our sincerity is shown by the fact that we follow and try our best...
@@advaitanundoo3587 Your view of perfecting the soul to become worthy enough to be with God is a saved by works gospel, which is not what the bible teaches. The only way to be saved is to recieve the sacrifice that Jesus gave when he was on the cross. I highly encourage you to watch the youtuber UltimateMordecai, he speaks very well on this subject.

Spirit : Interlinked with Body & soul given by father.
what happening during the death,you have to take example of Jesus Christ crucifixion. Jesus handed over his spirit to whom ? Father.
After that Jesus Christ soul went to Hadis ( remember Jesus Christ told one thief beside him ,today u will be with me at paradise literally place where Abraham living)
Then Jesus Christ body kept at Tomb.
It mean Jesus Christ had body soul and spirit.
Jesus Christ gave his spirit to Father.
Soul went to Hades or paradise.
Body kept in Tomb.
Same way person who lived with Christ,when he die...his spirit goes to Father.Soul goes to / living with Jesus Christ.
Body will remain in Tomb untill second coming of Christ for judgement.
During the judgement day all will get spirit back in to body which kept on tomb.

There are few reasons I have experienced in this Manner.When person near to death bed.
1.In death bed do not curse God.
2.In death bed do not greed house asset.
3.In death bed Have a Lord suffer sacrament.
4.In Death bed if person is Athiest or worshiped in demon idole or any earthly power then person should have Lord suffer & Apostles creed.
About Your Aunt: First we have to see Is it family deceases. Family deceases comes if DNA in same chain.
If she rarely Act or talk like your grand father then , she has possessed by Grand father soul. Weakness comes because one human body cannot tolerate two soul.
To clear this evil spirit daily morning evening prayer is mandatory.
Other then.
1.Open the Bible chapter Psalms 91. Keep half glass of water over this verse read 3 times 91 full chapter & blow your mouth air in it by saying In the name of Jesus christ evil spirit get out Amen(3 Times). Then give this water to your aunt, let she tell in the name of Jesus christ I am free from all deacese.
Per day 3 times , for 3week. If she feel comfortable it mean she is recovering & keep continue it untill she free. As well as take one mug of fresh water do the same process as above said spinkle water entire home & out surrounding home. Because when evil spirit stay in anyone human body first they saty alone but later others souls also try to come. Remember when Jesus christ delivered evil spirit possessed person then there was not 1 there was above 3000 evil spirit. Read Mathew 12 / 45 verse.
Let she drink that glass of water 3 times per day, let she keep bible on her bed near the bed.
