He answered the question. It being that why do innocent die? Why do children die?
The answer is because there is evil. Where there is good, there is evil. God will allow many things to happen and many things not to happen. Why he choses who will die and who not. And how they die? Is not something i understand. But God, in his wisdom, knows.
Im only starting to crawl in His light. My learning is slow and ponderous. But there is one thing thats always coming to the fore,....there are always underlining avenues, of areas, where deep thought and prayer and studying of His Word are required for understanding.
Remember Job? Lost his kids wife and family? And he was a man after Gods own heart? And God allowed satan free reign to destroy everything Job held dear? Though, satan was not allowed to kill Job? Imagin all your kids killed. Your business in ruins. Your wife leaving you. Your friends turning their backs on you and telling you that your faith in God is so much worthless junk?
Imagine if you will, from being a rich, well known merchant, to being destitute, living on the streets, boils and sores over your body. Living on scraps of food found in the rubbish.
I believe that you and i would turn from God in a heartbeat.
God allows evil to happen all around us. He allows it. He does not do evil. But allows it. Why? To teach us? To scare us? To warn us? To guide us?
All i can do is to ask God to have mercy on me. For i am weak without him. Without him i will fail everytime.

I enjoyed reading your comment. I have observed many things in my life. One thing is that people want God to intervene only when _bad things_ are about to happen. But God, being fair and just, would have to intervene in every affair, good and bad. Would people love Him if He did this? No. People would be just as upset as they are now. God allows things to take place then allows things to finish. Man is responsible for the action of evil on this earth. Man's heart would go unchanged if God intervened everything. So, God will allow man to make a mess, then show that same mess to him in order to correct him. God is about PREvention, not INTERvention. May God bless you and be well 🙏

@@gl6996 you I believe, have found the same secret I found. There are many ways He corrects us. And I've discovered that if you open your eyes and watch, sooner or later you are going to see a small thing happen. Then another and another. And suddenly they add up and then you wonder amazement just why you never saw it in the first place. He never does anything in a straight forward manner. Its always convoluted because He knows the past present and future. And because of this, He knows just what to do

@@gl6996 What I want to understand is why he allows a person to take away the free will of a child, such as when raping or abusing them, but God doesn’t intervene when the person is raping the child because then it would be “taking away That persons free-will.” So it’s ok for people to control other innocent people and kids, but God can’t do it to the rapist, murderer, abuser, molester, etc in order to stop this disgusting torture?
These are just kids. Even babies will be raped and killed. Why did God even allow them to be born if they would only be on this earth for a few months and then murdered. What was the point of it? And if God knows beginning to end, He Knew this was gonna happen so why even create that being that was gonna become a monster? The same goes with the devil. Yes I understand He created an angel, and the devil became evil on his own, but God Knew that would happen! So just why?? Why allow for this beast to exist. And why damn all of the human race and creation just because of Adam and Eve? It doesn’t seem fair that we paying for their sins when we didn’t even exist yet. Why couldn’t we all have a fair chance in the garden of eden, instead of being born here on earth, born into sin.
And the thing is I do believe in God. I have felt his presence. I have seen God work in my life. I have felt Jesus and the Holy Spirit in my heart. And I am grateful for all that he has done for me. But what about all those innocent kids? Where they less deserving that they were raped, abused, sold into prostitution by their own parents? What makes me different from them that they grew up with such a childhood as that and I didn’t. I thought God said the children were the most dearest to him. And yet everything that happens in this world doesn’t pass him, so he Sees when the child is being mistreated. It doesn’t make sense to me how a child is allowed to suffer such pain. They are Children. And most of the times it affects them psychologically as adults and even a lot of transgender people say they were sexually abused as a kid. So it’s not like it doesn’t affect them in their adulthood. So why, if God knows what will happen because of it, does he allow it?

I feel that he didn't answer the question directly but did give us something to think about because a lot of us don't stop to think about the things that we're asking. Our questions are more loaded than we think at times and we need to really stop and think about them. What he said wasn't illogical but because the world isn't completely connected to God that is why bad things happen. A lot of people don't want to retain God in their minds and hearts will do bad with a complete disregard for human life because they only care about themselves. If God just swooped down to save every innocent child every time something would we really learn to value life or would we just become too complacent thinking that we can slack on our responsibilities and be careless because nothing bad will ever happen. I think that we would never really learn to trust him and have a real relationship with him because he would be someone we would just use for our own end.

I came on utube to find sermons or something to soothe my soul because I encountered a 9 year old child who died from drowning yesterday, a complete stranger but I still can't seem to get over it. I can tell you, ravi didn't do justice here for those who are in pain.

  • @EXJehovahsWitnessesTestimonies

*I love Ravi ever since I heard him on the radio. Undoubtedly, he is at the Lord's side right now. Honestly speaking, I concede he did not answer the question. Not that he deliberately attempted to dodge it but rather he was explaining how there's many variables that make up the correct answer that he doesn't have them all. So he's unable to conclusively formulate an intelligent answer as many of those variables are beyond the scope of sinful human reasoning. I'm not defending his semi-partial answer I'm attempting to explain it. Children, like commenter Jeff Phelps mentions, are at the mercy of parents or the environment they're born in. They're unable to reason enough to accept or reject God.*
*It is only in God's grace that he will remember them and welcome them into the Kingdom. This is why Jesus said we must accept the truth as children. Because innocence is at the heart of children. Innocence denotes the absence of evil in the mind and heart although they are born in a sinful state in the eyes of an infinitely pure and holy God. A child's death (innocent in their entirety) is a byproduct of our sinful nature. There's just no way around this. In the end, all the pain, all the anguish, all the death by sinful man on the innocent children of this world, will be made whole innumerably. All made possible only by the blood shed by our Lord Christ at the Cross. I would recommend Ravi's book The Grand Weaver. It's a good read and shed's a bit more light on this deep subject. God bless.*

Drey Ko this really is a tough question and it’s taken up in Job. They talk about god being just etc.
Job questions god and why he, as a supposed just god, treats people unfairly. God replies putting it more in his own perspective. He rules over the entire universe and he isn’t bound by time as we are. What we see as unjust is from our point of view as humans. There is no way for us to see it in His perspective, we can try to understand it but in the end the most we can do is trust that God is love. God has no evil nor hate within him, he knows what is best for us and he wants it to be that way.
I’m not sure if this is any sort of answer to what you questioned but maybe it gave you something. I hope you have a great day/night/whatever it is for you and God bless you

    • @random-nz7dy
      @random-nz7dy Před 4 lety +1

@@dreyko166 that's a difficult question. Take the parable of the workers in Matthew
Where a guy hires people throughout the day up until the last hour of work then pays them all the same. Thats totally counter to what we would assume would happen. The workers who are there longer got upset but they got what they were promised.
The reason I said to think about it the reverse way is that this is really the same argument of a 90 year old on their deathbed making a faith congestion after 80 years of athiesm.
You're sitting on the next bed, also 90 years old and also on your death bed only you've been a devout Christian for 80 years.
It might seem unfair to you that this guy gets to essentially do nothing as a Christian and then get into heaven. But thats not how salavation works with God.
Salvation is available for anybody at any time. It doesn't have to fit our human definition of fairness. Gods mercy doesnt need approved as fair by us. We will have what we are promised as Christians just as those extreme examples will.
Because when you ask that question you're asking the same question that the workers in the vineyard who are there longer asked.

I lost a son at a very young age. I have always been a Christian. I didn't turn my back on God when that happened. It was hard. It was excruciating. Death hit me like a slap in the face. But it also woke me up. It changed my life. I realized once again that the Lord gives and the Lord takes away. It is always His choice, not mine. Apparently God needed my son to be with Him. I won't question that. I have to accept it. My son was a believer so I know he is in heaven with Jesus. I know one day I will see him again. As far as the suffering of children, well that is a question for God that I'm sure none of us can answer. Possibly a generational curse. There are scriptures where God says he will punish the wicked and their children. Then again there is the story of Job. He lost everything, including his family. Why? He was being tested we are told. The Lord's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are far beyond ours, so we should never question God's judgement. We should always fully understand that our Father has a divine reason for everything He does. He is perfect in all His ways, whether we understand or not. That's what faith in God is all about. Trusting Him. There is evil in this world beyond measure. Always remember to pray for the children in the world. It's the least we can do.

Answer, even though two yrs after.. ppl suffer because there is evil in the world, and Ravi explained how evil got here. Yes God is Almighty and All knowing, yes He saw evil coming...but because of FREE WILL, the ultimate showcase of love (right below salvation ) God leaves it be so we can find out who we are, and what's inside our hearts. He could have made us puppets! Robots!!!! And if we were formed out of evolution, me reasoning, being intelligent wouldn't be an option... so evil causes suffering, diseases, children dying young ETC. Evil and good go hand in hand... therefore there is a standard, something that dictates evil from good. It's called the moral law, which every human being has, and no science explains how and evolution can give that...to every living human...

He created our being in Perfect freedom inset essential volume expanse a capacity of free-will. In time's scale a measuring tell-tale we, humanity move along its myraid depths 'plumbing mysteries' searched-in fathomed...pondered Life in certain ourselves 'posed' alive and existential this world proven or unproven polarity's exist...true or false...lies crafted cleverly disguised or authentic experiences. Do mathematics concern over our whims of fancy apart or elements table mess around our viewpoint? No, upon realization the facts in-absolute form we are left with acceptance alone, nothing more or less than acquiesce the Truth.. it rules.
So in mortal span we are given time to work out the equation and come up with an answer yes or no.
On topic above those who leave this questionable plane of uncertainty are those who have worked out the answer correctly already concerning Life, in thier hearts resides Truth in Occupancy.
Freedom's sake intended, not robotic nor programmned, He has Ordained this gift of free-will in choice or Destiny, as Fate is given us to do our part and examine the details...item's close inspection are as existant. Variables inset this freedom from God's influence, we self define...we give an accurate description who we are by what we believe. This is the who we are..our 'inner self' the imagery we select via free-will. If we choose truth above all things, we reflect truth. If we select a lie for conveinance-sake or any reason at all heavily dilluted of pride, we reflect falsity. Thus an objective discernment granted 'autonomy' away from Divine Revelation, thereabouts it is we self correlate, objects attracted towards and those repelled...such magnitude free observation we identify. We can opt away...on our own to achieve Perfection..immortal lives. Go it alone unless we choose Perfection to enter via permission given we..God then performs the task together onwards conviction Himself rightful contender of the human heart, Worthy our love bestowed upon as True...Just in Merciful always in Eternal. Acceptance we are saying ultimately we agree...agree with God.
Planetary pulpit partakers, we decide the outcome, choice allowed inset a period of time alotted us, if we so choose to deny perfection we can. We can opt imperfection or dwelling apart from Perfection. Obvious world conditions imperfection prevails.
Of course we are free to choose either, just both choices have consequences greater or lessor than. Its up to us to decide, but its not up to us to altar the Reality of those choices in either case. We must understand in accept that Reality accommodates us thus far in a temporary situations, allowing for privileges, however in a permanent or Eternal position only Perfection endures. Perfect Truth, Perfect Justice coupled Perfect Mercy...Divine Love can go the distance evermore...Purely stoked without flaw nor digression rather Purity's Continuance Everlasting.

My little cousin was born with downs at 2 years old he was diagnosed with leukemia, we thought why him why us, but he has been a huge example of God's absolute love. He shows us that no matter how hard life gets that there is an objective and absolute love! I don't think my baby cousin deserves cancer, but God did not give him anything he couldn't handle. He gave him that extra chromosome for multiple reasons. I think to save my family's hatred for each other, to keep him healthier through the cancer, and to show us love through tribulation. If Jackson were to complain the whole time if I had cancer and just complained the whole time I would be playing victim and not truly seeing all of the gratuity in my life, I am a drug addict, and without all of my pain and heartache would I truly and I mean truly appreciate God's divine love and protection. A better question is why does a good God allow the innocent, and seemingly innocent to suffer, and even suffer without relief and in intense suffering. To me I think it is because long ago humanity made the decision to ignore the warning about death and chose to "be like God". In so doing we left the safe harbor and every human being reaps the whirlwind of the raging seas we have chosen, deliberately chosen. I think all suffering comes from that break with God in OUR making of this world. It is a world in which we can see that God Himself in the flesh reaped what WE sowed. The embrace of the love of God for humanity demonstrated in the obedience to the will of the Father by the Son IS the obvious redemption. A yes to Adam's no. In so doing ALL human suffering is elevated to great value in the eyes of the merciful Father and by the obedience of the courageous and loving son, who willed to obey. We are called to offer ALL our suffering in union with the one sacrifice of Christ on the cross, which is a sacrifice that stands outside time and is eternally effective, this is the basis of the Catholic mass and what Catholics are called to offer, Catholics are called to offer themselves at every mass, along with everything they have in their lives to God; to offer all in union with the Son. To be Christian is to be like the new Adam. To say yes to God. This is why Jesus tells us to pick up our cross and follow Him. The only other choice is that of the bad thief and his response. All go to the cross in many ways and many times and up the hill, and all die. Pick up your cross and follow Him! A good Catholic attempts to offer all his prayers, works, joys, and sufferings, EVERYTHING, in union with the One Time offering of Jesus on the Cross and for those intentions which Jesus presents to the Father as Jesus intercedes for us before the Father as our great high priest.
We are already sailing on the broken boat in a storm, we chose to do that. Jesus chose to rescue us. It is up to us to accept the rescue by the Way He shows us. This is why our love of Christ is proven by obedience to Him. Our obedience does not require us to "like" what happens, but to do our best to accept the will of God and be in union with Him as He Himself prayed in the garden, that all would be ONE, that is what Jesus wants, SO that the world would believe. Jesus said Christian unity in a profound way is necessary for the world to believe. He also gave out keys of authority for a purpose of unity. We must choose unity, we must be obedient to His prayer in the garden. We have not been obedient.

The answer perhaps is that the world system is one of sin and laying in wait for judgement. The earth is groaning and moaning(Rom 8:22). The world is a jungle without God and without Jesus's redemptive payment for sin. Jesus's work on the cross will change hearts and enlighten minds.
Till then.. the world will always be a jungle where action discontinued from its reaction(the thorn curse), chaos, randomness and uncertainties that comes from the darkened heart will continue. Jesus said I am the Way the Truth and the Light..(John 14:6). Because of the lack of knowledge man perish (Hosea 4:6).
Therefore, choose to give your heart to God and He will make your path straight and His ways will be made known to you. Amen.

I think perhaps that God knew this world (a world of choice) had to come before He could make a world that was truly good. He had to allow freedom of choice in this world for love to even be possible in the first place for love cannot be forced. But with the freedom to choose love comes the freedom to choose to do bad, and that's where we screwed this world up. But the good news is that God has made provision for those that truly want love to reign supreme through the ultimate act of love where His Son Jesus of Nazareth died in the place of those who would turn to Him. And choosing Jesus means getting to live in an unbroken world with God forever. People get so bent up on this world and it's problems they don't see that God is going to provide an unbroken one for those who choose Jesus. Hint: The problems of this world will pass away when it passes away so don't get so caught up on it and turn to Jesus.

I, as a Christian have wondered that also but based on the nature of this world as the Bible describes it I find the uncomfortable answer. Man is fallen, by choice and death takes command. At this point, having made his choice man has separated himself from God and God allows mankind that freedom. It does not behoove Him to make any move....although He does through the giving of Himself in the person of Jesus. He does heal, does raise from dead, physically...but most importantly makes a way for mankind be reconnected with Him through the redemptive work of Jesus in his death and resurrection.

I don’t understand how people do not get this, or think Ravi didn’t answer the question.
The question comes from a standpoint that God doesn’t exist. But if God didn’t exist, there would be nothing that could set a moral standard, then Good and Evil go out the window. But the question “why do innocent people suffer” assumes innocence. But to what standard of morality? You must believe in God to be able to have a truth and morality to use words such as innocence, good, evil, right, wrong. Now, let’s say you ask with the belief that God exists. Is it God that killed man, or sin? Was it not through man that sin entered the world? God made man, and everything was perfect. There was no death. Imagine that. However, God also loved man. In order for there to be love though, you have to have the option to not love. True Love is a choice. It, by definition, is contradictory to say that it is forced. So, man had and made the choice to bring sin into the world. Now, is it fair that a kid dies from cancer? Absolutely not. Is God just and fair? Absolutely. Why? It is sin that isn’t fair. Sin is infectious. It can effect those who have not even had the chance to speak yet. But, it is fair that man got to choose sin in the first place. Otherwise he wouldn’t have had a choice, and love and right and wrong goes out the window. Now, how can God be fair if a kid dies and goes to hell? Well, because they don’t. His word says that God can only hold man to a standard that he is under. As a being unable to comprehend the idea of morality, babies go to heaven when they die.
So, what are the implications of all this? One word, irony. Man accuses God of the unfairness of evil in the world, when it was his own doing that brought it in. And even though God has provided a way out for children to go straight to heaven if they die, and for conscious beings to still have life and forgiveness from sin through Jesus, man shakes his fist at God. It is the saddest story of irony that could ever be written, and it is non-fiction

Guys... I still have faith that some of you can think logically. There doesn't seem to have to be a supreme moral law in order for there to be subjective law. As much as all of Ravi's arguments necessarily ride on that point, it just is not the case. Morals have evolved just like our animal bodies: a gradual improvement to the subjective definition according to how we react and survive in nature. Sadly enough, religion has also *evolved* in this same way, modifying its definition to the point where all physical evidence or anything we can actually prove is labeled untrustworthy, and all subjective experience that points to its own definition--but not other religion's definitions--is taken at face value and canonized. Doesn't this seem even a *little* suspicious to you? That religion's process of evolution follows Natural Selection, Genetic Drift, Mutations, and Gene Flow, just like the scientific process of evolution? If religion hadn't already undermined your sense of logic, you might realize this to be the case. Reply with any questions and we can have a friendly conversation, but don't just bash me with "GOD IS GREAT" and "REPENT NOW SINNER," cause it's really getting old. I have an open mind, do you?

The deeper truth is that children suffer because of the unconscious choices they have made, that’s why we all suffer. So as to understand this we need to be aware that just like there is no death, an end, there is no birth, a beginning. In other words, we have always existed. In Oriental teachings we would call that samsara, reincarnation and as such, what we call children are actually souls that have always existed and due to their choices they ended up here.

    • @rolysantos
      @rolysantos Před 6 lety +1

The premise of your question is wrong; "Just because they subscribe to a different point of view."
Also, your analogies are flawed; "It's like saying if you are not a Republican you deserve to go to hell," etc...
So here is a biblical analogy. You rob a bank and you are arrested and taken before the judge who sentences you to 20 years in prison (or lets say you commit murder and are sentenced to death).
Your arguments that you made would be like telling the judge "You're sentencing me to prison/death, just because I have a different view then you? " "Judge, you believe that just because I'm not a "Law Abider" like you that I deserve Prison/Death Penalty?"
      Would you argue so foolishly? I hope not. It's not about simply "Having a different point of view." If The Lord is not God, and the bible is not true, then anything's possible. BUT, if The Lord IS God and his word, the bible IS true, then necessarily, there is NO God but ONE;
"I am The LORD, THAT is my Name, my glory I will not give to another." Isiah 42:8
"I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." Isaiah 45:5
Just as we cannot pick and choose what laws we agree with and whether or not we will follow them, we do not get to pick and choose our God. The Lord IS God and we must submit to HIM and His laws. ALL have sinned and are guilty before The Lord, "There is NONE righteous, no not one!" If God were to cast every living soul into hell he would be JUST! But, he himself became a human being so that HE could take the punishment that we deserve on himself. Jesus gave himself as a sacrifice to satisfy HIS own demand for justice. Therefore, if we confess our sin and ask for forgiveness because of what Jesus has done, God will forgive us of all unrighteousness and we will enter Heaven because of the Righteousness of Jesus, not our own righteousness. But if we say we have not sinned, then we make him out to be a liar and God's just wrath remains on our head. One way or another, whether because we repent voluntarily or we refuse and are condemned, "'every knee will bow before (The Lord) every tongue will acknowledge God.'" (Romans 14:11)
THIS is the truth! Believe it or don't believe it! I did not write the bible, I am not God. It was true before I believed it and it's true now. And whether or not you believe it, it is the truth!

Don't quote those pointless bible verses as they mean nothing to me.. That is like a muslim quoting quran verses to me, or a Hindu quoting verses the hindu doctrine.. It means nothing to me as it's all fairy tales for adults in my eyes..
Again. You did not answer my question.. Why should a normal Hindu, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, atheist, agnostic etc be condemned to hell fire for eternity just because they were born in a different culture / country that subscribes to a different religion? But a serial killer, Child rapist, drug cartel etc only has to accept jesus on his death bed and get to go to heaven while a law abiding non christian is condemned to eternal torment.. smh
All religions are disgusting because the Muslims also say that whoever that does not subscribe to the Islamic point of view should face eternal torment... You religious nutters are sociopaths.. Nasty nasty dead psychopaths .. Disgusting people...

Again, your logic is flawed. If you tell the judge, "Don't quote the law to me judge, it means nothing to me!" Will the judge tell you "Well in that case, you're free to go!" Of course not, stop being foolish. You WILL pay the penalty whether you agree or not!
I did answer your question. IF the bible is true (and it is) THEN you have your answer in scripture. You can't ask "Why Does your bible/God condemn these people?" and then say "But don't quote from the bible!" That's silly!
"A serial killer, child rapist....only has to accept Jesus on his death bed.." Your quote shows where your heart is. You are judging these people by YOUR standard, which is YOURSELF! Compared with them, you think yourself pretty worthy of heaven. But neither you nor I are the standard; GOD is the standard and NONE are righteous in his sight! There is none so bad that he cannot be save and there is none so good that he need not be saved! You don't realize it but YOU are the Pharisees that looked down their noses at "sinners" and were self righteous before God. Jesus called them "Brood of Vipers" and "Children of Hell!" They were too proud of their own righteousness compared to the dregs of society to see how sinful they really were. You're like the best looking horse at the glue factory, but in the end, it doesn't mean much does it?
God has made himself known in General Revelation by the creation that we see. God also holds every person accountable for right/wrong, good/evil because he has given us a "Conscience" which means "With Knowledge." Even a toddler who takes a cookie from the cookie jar tries to hide it from his mother when she catches him, WHY? Because of a guilty conscience. Our conscience condemns us before God, we don't have to know what the bible even says to know that what we did was WRONG!
Disgusting? How do you know? When you say that something is "Wrong," "Immoral," "Evil," WHOSE definition are YOU using? How do you KNOW these things are wrong, immoral and/or evil or even "disgusting?" Says WHO?

(You are playing the typical bible thumping no rationality, no critical thinking, no anything christian that is so indoctrinated into her little cult that thinking critically is not encouraged.. Again, you quoting bible verses that mean nothing to me in reality advances nothing..)
Do you know what an If/Then statement is in Logic?
      IF the bible is true
THEN Jesus is the only God.
That's not rational or logical? Please explain!
So only if YOU believe something does it become true? Please explain!
(Again, can I quote some Quran verses that condemn all you jesus following nut cases to eternal torment? Can I quote what muhammad said about people like you that are sinning against allah?
I bet you you won't take them seriously or even entertain them as they mean nothing to you. Isn't it?
So stop quoting your fairy tales stories for adults to me. They mean nothing as they are like someone quoting what the quran says, or what harry potter books say..)
Well, IF the Quran is true then I guess we should listen to it right? But HOW do we know?
(You guys are nasty, disgusting, cold blooded zombies that choose to throw your own critical reasoning out of the window and take on some made up mythical nonsense that tells you to be okay with children being sexually raped, children dying of cancer, children dying from droughts, famine, earth quakes, floods etc.. )
Where does the bible say or I say that I'm "Okay with children being sexually raped, etc?"
Remember you're the reasoning, rational one here. Please show me where this was said.
(You and the Muslim are so nasty.. muslims are blowing themselves up because they think it's their gods law. While you christian zombies are justifying children being raped as accepting RAPING CHILDREN is something moral your sadistic cult. You religious zombies are disgusting and dangerous individuals. People that believe that sacrificing a child to your god is moral (the Abraham story).. No wonder you are so cold blooded when it comes to protecting and being emotional when it comes children suffering. You think that what abraham was prepared to do to his son was moral according to your god and cult morals..
Nasty, nasty and disgusting sociopaths you are.. Very dangerous.. I am so glad I got out of these religious cults.. What the fck was I even thinking believing this nonsense? My parents to blame.. lol)
You're a very angry person. Angry people actually don't think rationally.
You didn't answer my question; How do you know something is good/bad, right/wrong?
What standard are you using? This is where the rubber meets the road. You will either give a reasoned answer or just keep spewing anger and name calling, which is actually not very rational. Are YOU ok with THAT?

Zacharias is missing the point of the objection. The objector may not be assuming that there is real ontological evil or implying that there is a moral law. Rather, they are pointing out that the kinds of suffering that we see in the world, and perhaps especially when a child suffers, seems incompatible with a God of love or a God of justice/goodness that is allegedly in total control of the world.

The question in and of itself is a question all come to ask but logically it’s dumb to ask. God creates one man, one woman, the eat of the forbidden fruit and fall into sin and death, should they blame God for what they did and the suffering that’s fallen upon them?Next they have sex and had twins, one twin kills the other, should they blame god for the suffering of the one person who was killed and for the parents eating what they should not have done? You go farther down along the line to now, billions of people, polluting, corrupting, killing, lying, stealing, cheating, robbing, having sex with hundreds of people who then have sex with another hundred and creating stds, pestilence, diseases, cancers, weapons of mass destruction, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH, and they have the audacity to look up and ask God why all this suffering is here, why innocent people and children suffer here, yet they can’t see where it originally came from. US, the suffering is because of us! We created all of this for ourselves, it affects everyone else, everything you do in life, good or bad literally will effect everyone else wether you know it or not in some way shape or form. The problem isn’t God, it’s us, it’s always been us, and it will always be us until his return and restoration of all the mess we created. What he did on the cross is to restore us from the inside, when he comes back it’s to restore the outside and do away with the cancers of society who fuck everything else up for the rest of us. But we all have our part in this, we all have responsibility for everyone else. We all see ourselves as individuals but truth is we are individuals a part of a much bigger organism which is god, problem is we have become as a cancer and it has to be either restored or cut off. Either way, look in the mirror, think about all the bad stuff you did, even the things you think don’t have that much effect and really ponder just how loaded you are when you ask that stupid question for why is there so much suffering in the world if God is good. He is good, your not, he loves you anyways, he loves everyone, doesn’t mean he’s just going to spoil everyone like a new born and give them everything in this life, we came into this world, it’s a part of our creation, it’s are responsibility to stop the suffering. Problem is, we missed the mark, so god in the flesh Jesus came to fix that.

Lift Strong: sry but explanation is crap. If we are to go by your explanation the word "all mighty" needs to be taken off. If God is almighty, didn't he know beforehand that the 2 creatures he created would eat from the wrong tree & thereby world will become miserable? He need not have given a choice. Solution is not for Jesus to come and die for others sins ( yet it hasn't saved humanity). "Almighty god" could have forgiven Adam & eve and all after would have been ok.

Ref your question; yes if " Almighty " God could create the 1st two creatures including the mind , where is the free will?? Adam & eve made decisions based on the capacity of the mind they had WHICH WAS CREATED BY GOD!!! where was the free will?? Why give a choice to something already created? ( creation by an almighty being and "free will" from half way does not go together? , no logic?? ) God could have filled the mind only with positivity, happiness, joy. I am sure u know the meaning of the word " Almighty "

    • @1nisitha
      @1nisitha Před 6 lety

Spencer Brown ; still, being almighty, god would for sure have known how this independent human mind was going to work. You cannot sey God wouldn't have known? Being "almighty" , creating the universe, planets, life itself, all creatures, the sun & the moon etc etc . According to your view, then God creates an independent mind and gives that human mind of the 1st 2 created a choice. But all the time he knows beforehand ( he is almighty) what exactly the two are going to do; which is disobeying & therefore, the world being full of sin?? Come on, don't u think that chain of thoughts don't match nor is logical to a neutral mind.

You gonna blame God? I thought that the Devil made me do it :) “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Edmond Burke.
Also when the man got to heaven he asked God "why did this have to happen why didnt you do anything." And God said "I did, I sent you." BE the change you want to see in the world, ever think of that? Or would you rather sit on your haunches and complain? People are ignorant. Of that their can be no denying. Lol

    • @am1089
      @am1089 Před 6 lety

hah h the answer is this: God can not stop devil right now. As much as he wanted to he cannt. This world has a God ( Satan ) which is in control of this world. The God of universe is not in control of this world and there is no where in scripture said so... God manifest as a human so he can rescue us and give us eternal life. This universe had limitation and time constraint which creat boundry into thins happen instantly. We just have to shut up live for the Lord and trust him he is the creator you will be surprised how the end is. You would laugh to these questions. Preach the gospel.
      2. The same concept apply for forgivenes. For the same reason God could not forgive you from heaven he had to come and die. The most important thing in universe is NOT God it is his word that is placed above him. These words are law in which God created himself by. There are rules needs to be used even almighty God needs to use them. For instance blood need to be shid for forgivness. Thags the reason saten sacrofy babies too.
      3. Before i became Christian God told me there is a code of creation in the blood later when I read the Bible I was shocked that Bible said the same thing ( life is in blood )

I Like RAVI Zs explanations for Conciousness and A Creator, but he Falls WAY SHORT here... he turned the question on its head and basically said that as a MATERIAL NON-BELIEVER then you can't question the DEATH of INNOCENT CHILDREN... but then the obvious rebuttal to that is... lets ASSUME there IS a CREATOR... (which RAVI himself does) then ASSUMING there is a GOD... why does GOD allow for the slaughter of so many innocent Children at the Hands of DISEASE and STARVATION, let alone War and Human factors? It would seem that GOD is quite Indifferent to this. If GOD is in the Business of giving MAN a chance to REDEEM HIMSELF on Earth... he does not give that basic chance to Millions of CHILDREN who are too small, and incapable of understanding GOD in the first place.

The flaw is are they innocent or not. Also statistics of accidental civilian casualtys in wars like Iraq for example actually are less deaths than the American car crash per year death rate.
    Death is enviable.
It's always times where deaths are traded for a lower amount to save the large catodtorphic amounts.
It's cultures that constantly are conflict. If there worship is the true God why are they so full of hate. Why do suffer so. If it's not evil that leads to suffering then what is it? Blame on others or accountability is missing in these cultures.
