I love the idea of Jeff lurking off-camera providing quiet insight.

He actually strummed some chords through that Westwood! That's such an important test when trying a pedal with a bass rig...I am happy now.

I love what the Melvins do... And Steven McDonald seems like really cool... down to earth, engaged, and fun.... That isn't true for all musicians.

That Tone in the beginning was it the Westwood???? Or something else?? It sounded like the Terminal when you open it up, to me anyway

It was Westwood, but it sounds like he's using the out of phase pickup selection on his bass, which might account for the nasally upper-mids

I love his tone on Walking the Dog by Fun. Sounds a bit overdriven/fuzz but very round and bassy. I'm curious if anyone knows how he got the sound.

Knowing Steve’s a KISS/Gene $immons fan, I figured he’d HAVE to bust out some classic KISS when I saw the Ripper.

Love his honesty, it seems like it sucks, and they gave him bum Crate amp to demonstrate, he's trying not to laugh.
