What you and your family can get out of sewing is so much better than anything store bought, or can enhance what was store bought (like new clothes for their dolls, or keeping existing clothing in good condition)! Maggy, I got the idea for a Coleman camp oven cover from the beginning of this CZcams video. This will show you what I was try to describe to you: "Lake Mead Rec Area Camping, Hiking, Coleman Oven Baking! Full Time Van Life!" The only difference in my version would be the welding blanket type (3/8" thickness "felt" type welding blanket like I explained to you previously) and hand sewing the back seams. Today I learned how to blanket stitch in my stitch book but not on a page-edge yet so hopefully by the end of today I'll have the edging done. Blanket stitch is pretty easy once you got the technique so I can't wait to do this for my stitch book.
