  • In this episode, I am on my way to Abuja, which I should reach in one day now. But I still have to get across the wide river Niger, and according to the locals, there is a ferry... When I finally reach the paved road, and think that the biggest challenge is behind me, I realize it only just begun... stay tuned for the episode after this!

You are right,. she's more than brave. Those routes she followed are simply teeming with bandits and robbers. She could easily be taken hostage and a huge ransom demanded before she is released. As a woman, one of the bandit leaders could even decide to turn her into a bride. He would take her deep into the forest where she can't be traced. By the time she gets her freedom, she could be the mother of several brats. As she traverses to the Cameroon border, it's not bandits she could encounter but islamic terrorist groups like boko haram. When they take her hostage, it is curtains and babies. Personally, I'll suggest she cut short her Nigerian and African adventures. It's nice viewing for us but simply too risky for a white woman.

@dr0elf, that's true. However, one thing you should know is that all of her travel routes in Nigeria have been through very rural areas & not one city yet so you'd expect to see rural sceneries.

She's avoiding the cities due to traffic as a Nigerian I don't even know some of these places

you judge with the eyes of a westerner and you see very little of nigeria. and yes, nigeria could be much much more than it is. corruption kills nigeria. and for many other reasons, it's a pretty wonderful place

also, this not the normal path to travel. she's intentionally avoiding the main highways, which are wide and paved. how do you think tractor trailers cross the niger river? she's not showing you typical nigeria. very few nigerians would ever travel these roads. nigeria is also full luxury cars. how do you think they travel from lagos to abuja. this route gets more views. search youtube for other videos of nigeria
