He could solo a ton of characters, and GER just widens the possibilities a ton. Maybe not MCs like Rimuru or something, but he could solo the entirety of RWBY, Rimuru’s army probably, all of MHA, thing like that. I’d even say Yamcha could be jumped by Giorno either caught off guard or with GER. Obviously he can solo most jojo characters, but their brains are considerably more crinkled than the average anime protagonist.

Returning to Kaneko, it isn't known if they have a friendship, but both Kaneko and Araki had a dual interview with each oter and they seemed to treat the other well and share some artistic viewpoints and general ideals, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were friends.
I imagine Giorno's Persona would be Hastur. It's be perfect seeing how its of the Star Arcana and giorno want to be a Gangstar. Not to mention Hastur's is also known as the King In Yellow, it would complement Giorno so well.
