Thanks for this. You mentioned 'jet power". I have the Flytec jet boat (thanks to you) I like those for my pool. Thoughts on the WL917? Not looking for racing speed - just all around fun.
I had the proboat sprintjet 9. That seems to be similar to it so it should be good. It's not the fastest but its tiny and cool.
was it running on stock battery or 3s ?
The stock batteries this one came with are 3s lion but I ran 3s lipo in this as well.

@cyberlife514 I wouldn't try anything over 3s. If it fits and has the same connection it should work. Just make sure to check for self righting with whatever battery you use.
@@RunThatRCi just received my boat. Idk if this is normal but my gas is on the steering and the steering on the gas. Completely opposite. Is this normal? Or how do i reset it ?
@cyberlife514 try and check the manual if there is a way to change the mode on your controller. Sounds like your controller is set to mode 1 but some of us are mode 2 style drivers.

it comes stock 3s with Lion battery. Just using 3s lipo instead.
So I bought batteries from description and they do not have the same connection so how do I plug it in just tried and almost ruined the battery we just opened for Christmas @RunThatRc
There is an adapter you need that converts the connector to match. its a xt60 to deans/t plug.
