It takes too many people too long to realize they didn’t do enough until it’s too late 😢
Powerful movie.
The sad thing about this movie is they understated what it's like to have an addict in the family, and how the escapees like Vance who beat the odds are the exceptions. Most I know follow their parents down the same path, and the grandparents who spent what was left of their good years raising them see it all be for nothing.
A lesson to all… If you want to be vice president, you have to do your homework!

At 20 years old, I put every penny I had away to actually have the same “chance”…… just a chance. His chance worked for him. Wish his grandma could see it. Hopefully I’ll have mine one day.
