What amazes me is that the audience applauds during her singing in several places. I don't remember that happening before. I'm not used to applause during a performance except in a jazz concert.
Of all the times she has sung this song and all the recordings of it, this is the one that really gets me so much....She's so young....and you know how people, when they're first starting out, they really just try so hard and they're so there with it...and the audience is just so huge, and they're all just right there with her...so intensely...and she just comes out with her little dress. She's so pretty here...and you know she's gotta be hecka nervoius, but the audience really supports her so...and she just blasts out with this classic Orbison perfection...I love it so much.....One of those vids I always pray they will never take down off of YT.....Just fabulous....
I so agree and this is one video I had that I just couldn't wait to post. This version is far and away the best version of this classic tune I've ever heard and hands down. Such intensity and feeling in her vocal delivery. Oh yes, the audience was so with her and felt everything she was feeling. I am sure Roy would have been proud and so pleased with this one. I too loved her dress and entire look as well.
Concur. Best performance by kid singing this song. I sob every time I see this performance. I don’t know if she was going through a break up when she sang this song, but you could feel that she was feeling this song. Add that to this voice....
