Definitely gotta get a kayak! Love to fish and this seems the best way to catch more for sure! Great channel! Hello from Marshall county!

Hey Matt! Hello from Morgan County! There are so many great places to paddle (and fish) in North Alabama! I hope you do get a kayak and get out there. It's a blast!!

It has been around 25 years since Shan & I paddled that same section. We loved it, but just never have made it back up there. We need to make this trip again.

Did this same section about 10 years ago, except went all the way down to and at the Elk River Rental pullout. Took 2 days, camped overnight. The Elk is a great float. I’ve completed all sections down to close to the city but it gets too dangerous near the end. I know that river to so well. Did you find the hidden cabin on the bluff with all the floats and river toys?

Hey buddy how's it going ? I know that was good time man. As hot 🥵 as it been & getting in the water to cool down was nice too. Me & my 6 boys would love to do something like that with you man. Would you like to do something like that man ? I know 8 miles go by so fast that it needs to be a lot longer to enjoy it better. You have a good weekend buddy and be safe out there on the water man.

Hey Mack- yes, these hot summer days will make you hop in the water quick...lol! Coordinating trips can be tricky, especially with distance involved. I've blown through over half of my vacation days this year- ha, ha!

Awesome Thanks for sharing. 👍😀✝️. Does the backrest on the kayak make a big difference from using the canoe.

Preciate it, brother! My canoe has a back rest and I like it as well as this boat which has a good one. I have 2 kayaks with short back rests and those are the least comfortable to me.

You should really wear a hat my partner is bald and he's getting old and stuff is starting to grow on it.

Yes, I keep saying I'm going to wear one more. I usually have one with me, but don't put it on until after a few hours. Gotta be careful!!
