We also have a plant in Reynosa Mexico which does much of our plastic molding and wire winding.
Thank you for the great comment and question,

Thank you for remembering us. Before becoming a manager I was a trainer, I remember training some of the Kragen stores in CA.
We have more than 40,000 part numbers in our line. With an offering of this size there is no way we can manufacture them all. We do source from all over the world but price is not the deciding factor. No matter where we get the part it must met our quality standards. Our most popular electronics are made in Fond du Lac Wisconsin.

@dmorley100 I hope you liked this one. All the filming, editing , script writing ...everything is done by technicians. We do it in between training classes and assistance calls. We will be having lots more it just takes a while. By the end of the year we are going to start a series on Lab scope training. Starting at the basics. Stay tuned.

Good luck with it. You are right, it doesn't matter what type of vehicle the ignition system works the same.

This makes a lot of sense to me. Now I know why these ignition modules can fail and how to keep them from failing by regularly checking the rest of the ignition system, so the ICM isn't strained more often than needed!

I remember when we used to sell Wells stuff at Kragen Auto back in the 1990's. Specifically, I remember attending a very good seminar put on by Wells at a hotel conference hall here in San Jose. For some reason though, Kragen switched to GP Sorensen not long after. We, now as O'Reilly Auto (sucks!), carry Borg Warner, which used to be good, but even their stuff is all sourced from China and India. Where are Wells products made? I still believe U.S. made is the best!
