    I have a bachelor's in pysch...basically have been working in accounting roles for 7 years since graduating...now I have an opportunity at my company now to transition into an HR role. We don't really have an HR department, and I'm still unclear on what they would be looking for me to do. I'm looking into beginner courses to get started, hoping this can help me transition into handling smaller HR tasks.

    Working in accounting role at my company for a few years...bachelor's degree in psych...basically learned accounting on the job...spoke with my boss about transitioning into an HR role, but we are a growing company and really don't have a set HR department yet. I don't want to miss out on this opportunity here, but I'm wondering if taking online beginner courses or shrm approved courses will be enough to get me started in handling some smaller HR tasks before we figure out how to expand my role 🤔
