  • In this video we test out the 1"gas powered fire pump from harbor freight. Im assembling a fire trailer that I can tow behind my quad to knock down a brush fire and save my homestead. I can also use it for remote watering and pressure washing.

If you want to keep the water from sloshing in your turtle tank fill it with perforated drain tile pipe and that will help baffle it and prevent the slosh. And like others have said just use heavy duty 3/4" rubber hose. And use cam-lock fittings so your not threading on hoses all the time.

Nice set up. I can tell you, your limiting factor is the nozzle. Spend some money on a quality, high gpm nozzle. You don't need the 1" hose for discharge. 3/4" garden hose is fine. Keep the 1" for filling the tank.

Great video sir. Could you tell me where you purchased the return to tank relief valve or at least the name and model number? Thanks!

Cool, but I would have 4 25 lengths of hose so you can move around without having to move the unit around. You should use Forestry hose, it is 1 inch and can be purchased online.

Absolutely 👍. The pumps been great but the hose is junk.

I set up the same system. Here is just a thought. The pvc coated intake and red fire hose may not stand up to large embers or direct flame. I put an aluminum flex pipe around the green intake hose for extra protection. I also went with actual 1" canvas fire hose , instead of the red pvc hose. Its expensive, but I believe its worth it.
