We used to have to try to tape ice bags and wrap elastic bandage around his shoulder after work. His wasn’t torn, but same area. The only thing that started helping his muscle injury heal was when I started feeding him jello and adding plain gelatine to most of our cooking. Muscle and skin injuries benefit from more animal protein in the diet. It’s needed to rebuild the tissue properly.

It still amazes me that QTAC have such good engineering/customer service. I appreciate you are an "influencer" but for them to chase you when you have issues says that they will be pretty pro-active for the average Joe!
A boom in US manufacture would be good. I'm in the UK and I still buy either US/UK if I can. There is a definite difference in quality.
One option for the water in the channel issue is to use a non-setting gasket like Hylomar blue on the base of the soap tank so water can't get in there in the first place. Whatever you do you will end up with rotting stuff, blocked drain or a creepy crawly home in there otherwise.
Soft grip (plastic) jaws on the hoses and gently twisting them starting at the top and working inwards is the easiest way to break the hoses free, if someone saw you jamming a screwdriver into a hose in the aviation/critical environment you wouldn't last long!

Water sloshes in the tank, and becomes an added dynamic force. It can actually cause tipping when your vehicle is already in an unstable position. Much harder to manage a vehicle with half full vs full, even if the tank is baffled. Spent plenty of time driving various fire apparatus with 50-2200 gal tanks. Half full is terrible.

Hey Cody, from the few images i could see it doesnt look like a rotatorcuff rupture. From the symptoms you discribe it sounds like a subluxation of the shoulder (a commen issue after a slipoff with the arm or a fall on the schoulder that causes the humureshead to slide a few milimeters forward (that doesnt show on an mri)) and / or a few ribs that are stuck so your scapula cant move correctly. Most of the time it is the 1 rib that is stuck that causes the clavicula to move incorrect. If the clavicula moves incorrect the scapula doesnt move when it should (because its the only bone that connects the shoulder to our body) so your humures gets stuck. I hope it makes sense. If i were in your area i would give you a treatment. But i can only anwser your questions if you have some about your schoulder or back.

That qtac is an amazing unit. Little outta my budget but I'm planning to put something together similar for myself. Fire preparedness seems to always be on my back burner of things to do. After your recent videos I'm putting it up towards the top. No, I dont have the same acreage you do...but I've got neighbors who are elderly.

Cody seeing you trying to work what's your right arm pains me so bad because I know exactly what you're going through. I am no Dr but having torn my rotator cuff five different times after 7 surgeries I still yet today use my left arm exactly like you are doing. As long as you hold it close to your body the pain is bearable and lifting something straight up is not as bad either. I am hoping I'm praying that is not a rotator cuff tear it is one of the worst pains I have ever experienced in my entire life. When you said you cannot sleep because of the pain it really helps to sleep on the couch on your left side with your backup against the couch and put a pillow underneath where you can rest your arm but I would suggest having a sling on it and take a safety pin and pin it to your shirt why you are sleeping. If you have any questions on anything that you think that I might be able to help you with or want to know anything please feel free to get ahold of me. God bless you and your family.

@@byronmill Naaaa, no need for Loctite. Teflon tape is when they didn't seal the bottle and it's slighty dried and becomes more of a solid form. They just created a new brand to sell it. 🤣

If you squirt a bit of glycerine down and around that hose she will come loose easily. Probably need a syringe to do it but it is miscible with water and softens rubber and acts as a temporary lubricant.

We put a skid on our Polaris 6x6 in 20122 at our VFD, Also we have a mount for a stokes stretcher as to be a multi use rig. We discovered that running the pump at idle was more effective for most grass fires. Our 60 gals lasted much longer. This was bought due to the 2011 fires here in Texas. Designed by our Chief
