  • The GROW Model is a coaching framework used in conversations, meetings, and everyday leadership to unlock potential and possibilities. GROW was first published by Sir John Whitmore in 1992. It has become the world’s most popular coaching model for problem-solving, goal setting, and performance improvement. GROW is more than a coaching model loved by the coaching community. It is also a top leadership tool that works across all disciplines and cultures. With its four deceptively simple steps, GROW has proved successful all over the world. It forms the backbone of coaching in many organizations and universities globally, due to the outstanding results it helps people to achieve personally or as part of a team.

Very good model to structure the coaching conversations and derive more and more options to overcome a challenge.

Good technique and nice probing questions.
I have one question though, what if the coachee is not in a position to come up with any options, can the Coach suggest the options?

Good question! please understand the difference between consultant and coach . A consultant holds the answers, while a coach helps their coachee to find their own answers
