- This is the style video that goes with my foam roller tutorial. A classic 1940s silhouette, with curly victory rolls at the front forming a heart shape. I jazz up the back of the hair with a crisscross at the crown, as inspired by images of vintage style sets. if you have any questions or comments, please let me know!
Below are the products and tools that I use. Feel free to use whatever products work for your hair. I don’t often use hairspray, but I find that a grooming spray keeps the puffy curls longer than just pomade. I prefer not to use hairspray because it isn’t as authentic for these styles. Just a note on historic styles from the 1940s, most women would get their hair set in a perm to create their styles. they visited the salon a lot more than we do now. Pomade was a common choice to smooth, frizz and create hold.
You will need:
 Suavecita pomade
 Suavecito grooming spray
Wave clips
Rat tail comb
Bobby pins
Two vintage barrettes
That style is fabulous and it suits you so much!!!
Thank you kindly!😊
