What would you recommend to someone who just took the msf 3-wheel course? We used Ryker 600 and i was quite comfortable doing everything on it. You would of never thought it was my first time riding one. I was way more comfortable and confident on the Ryker then i am on my 2 -wheel motorcycle (which is automatic btw, honda navi). I can’t afford a new spyder and i don’t have interest in wanting to paddle shift. I wish the Rykers had more storage though. I won’t be going on the highway or doing day trips. I won’t be going off-road. I don’t have any passengers to carry. I live in the country and have country roads. I’ve been finding some really nice deals on 2021 ryker 600 ($6k and under) and most of them are NEW (not even ridden - like demo units). I believe a full warranty comes with them too. I was recommended the Ryker rally - i don’t see myself needing to adjust suspension to be honest. I was also recommended the 900 and I like the fact that it has the eco mode. Does the rally have an eco mode too? I like the upgraded seat and the exhaust on the rally. Just wondering what i should choose b/c I’ve been finding a lot of 2019 rally’s for $7,999-$8200s range and some of them have the accessories I am seeking. A lot however, i haven’t seen the akrapovic exhaust nor the brush guard.
Since you will not be doing any highway or long trips I think a 600 will be fine. You can add storage. SLING MODS has a nice 3 piece luggage system for them and can am offers a variety of different trunks and a saddlebag. Since you do not want to shift Ryker will be better than a Spyder. I feel like it is safer than you Navi because it is a lot more visible. You can always add exhaust or a brush guard. If you get a 600 and get comfortable enough to go on a trip it will do it. Good luck getting a Ryker I know you will love it.
@@roncleghorn4381 Hi Ron, Thanks so much for your reply. I agree, I think the Ryker is the better choice for me and it definitely will be much safer then any 2 wheel motorcycle especially better then my navi b/c my navi is way too small compared to everything else. Plus the operation of a 2 wheel vs a 3 wheel is completely different. I honestly prefer 3 wheel instead. When i learned at MSF on the Ryker 600, i absolutely loved it. I’m tempted to grab the 2021’s I’m seeing for under $6k that are NEW, demo units. Some have 0 mileage, and some were test driven models. The ones w/ 0 miles i believe still come w/ the factory warranty. I’m wondering if you can add the B.E.S.T. Extended warranty to any can-am year Ryker. I was wondering if you know of the following to be true: i watched a video on the 2019 Ryker rally and the owner said that this model is stealable b/c any Ryker key can go in and start it up. If that’s the case, then i want nothing to do with the rally model. I took a browse on sling mods and it’s pricy. I know to accessorize these, it’s pricy. Finding one w/ accessories already on it would be beneficial, prob more $ though. I happened to find a 2019 Ryker rally for $8462 w/ a lot of the accessories I seek. Downside - it’s in Illinois, I’m in NY. I am browsing online b/c my state/dealers don’t have the deals. Also, it seems like the newer models have more issues compared to some of the older ones. I’m wondering how big a deal the 900 ace is compared to the 600 since it has the eco mode. I wonder if the eco mode is basically a 600 ace. I’ve been trying to research but I’m not always finding the answers i seek. You had great video reviews of these can-am’s.
@@lostintheclouds8719you’ll grow into the 600 quickly. The 900 is probably perfect if you are mature enough to take it slow and responsibly. It’s not like a 900cc street bike.
@@americandude3825since conversating w/ you and other reviewers I decided that I wanted to go for the Ryker sport preferably. I’m not opposed to going for the 600 but I’m thinking the 900 would be better long term. I am definitely responsible so I’m glad that it’s not like a street bike. You’re right when it comes to size - you’re definitely more seen. There is a demo day event coming up at the end of the month at a dealer about five minutes down the road from where I live so I’m definitely gonna go out there and test ride a 900 and just out of curiosity a spyder too just so I can see which one I like more for purchase. I think it’ll end up being a Ryker and will definitely add storage/accessories onto it as well. Ty for your help
Really, Thank you! And.... y'all definitely put your steps in!!!!
Thank you

And this is just my opinion. So take everything people tell you including myself with a grain of salt.
