  • Risk Bites goes full-on promo for a unique undergraduate degree program that trains its graduates to be part of building a better future in a technologically complex world.
Let’s be honest, choosing an undergraduate degree is tough. There are so many options, so many pressures, so many uncertainties! So we thought we’d try and make things a little easier here at Risk Bites for anyone who’s simultaneously excited and concerned about the future in a world where technology is becoming increasingly complex and powerful.
If this sounds like you (or your almost college-age kids!) it’s worth checking out the Arizona State University Future of Innovation in Society undergraduate programs (links below). There’s a deep connection to risk here as these programs provide a unique set of skills for understanding and navigating the challenges of avoiding futures that are worse than the present, and being part of building futures that match our aspirations - whether you end up working for a startup, in a large corporation, for a government agency, running your own business, teaching, or even working with advocacy groups.
The Future of Innovation in Society degree at ASU is part of the ASU School for the Future of Innovation in Society - a school that’s at the forefront of thinking, research, and action, on ensuring a vibrant, equitable and promise filled future in a technologically advanced society. Our students work with leaders in the field to develop the skills that will equip them to help ensure emerging technologies open up new possibilities for as many people as possible, whether working for private companies, government agencies, or advocacy groups.
