Professor Andrew Maynard is a scientist, author, and leading expert on risk and the ethical and socially responsible development and use of new technologies. He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, serves as co-chair of the Institute for the Advancement of Nutrition and Food Science (IAFNS) Board of Trustees, is a member of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research President’s Research Council, has served on a number of National Academies of Sciences committees, and has testified before congressional committees on several occasions.
As well as producing Risk Bites, Andrew’s work has appeared in publications ranging from The Washington Post and Scientific American, to Slate, Salon, and OneZero. He co-hosts the podcasts Mission: Interplanetary and Future Rising, and is the author of the books Films from the Future: The Technology and Morality of Sci-Fi Movies, and Future Rising: A Journey from the Past to the Edge of Tomorrow.
Andrew received his PhD in aerosol dynamics from the University of Cambridge in 1993, and is currently a professor in the Arizona State University School for the Future of Innovation in Society, and an Associate Dean in the ASU College of Global Futures.

The amount of people I saw die from this since 2020 has disturbed me, this is real, and we follow science, not politics, not podcasts and youtube videos, science and doctors and we dont let the uneducated interfere. You can thank the boomer generation and their vaccines and those big scars for us the younger generation not having to have the samw vaccinations, because they work, and they didnt die. So far delta variant here has caused 14 deaths this month, several younger patients have died under my care. I got to see many people beg for air, they often describe is drowning above the water, I also get to see the family completely lose control at times and fall apart. Our staff here...when we hear the antivaxxers and all the fear they live in, they havent seen real fear yet until they beg for air and life but know their days are numbered and limited only to suffering before they expire. Man up. Get an education, maybe you will start to care about others. Been watching folks die over a year now.

Try to make a liquid out of 94 parts ground up pencil lead/graphite with 6 parts water. Graphite is graphene, pencils contain graphite. Easy experiment.

Is there any way to test if your mask has graphene in it? My employer purchased wonderful 3-ply nanotech cloth masks and got sick. My lungs have not been the same since. I wrote to the manufacturer but they haven't responded.

I don’t know what cupping is but you can take a detox bath. Do 1 or 2 cups of baking soda, 1 or 2 cups of epsom salt, 1 cup of borax, and 1/4 cup of bentonite clay (Aztec secret is a great brand on amazon. Put all of that in the hottest bath water you can safely tolerate for about 20 minutes. Even just baking soda and epsomsalt is a great combination

My friend has been vaccinated twice and booster. As someone who has handled plenty of graphene (including with things like carbon nanotubes) in his life I can try to answer these:
1. what do you mean by "Atomically active"? Graphene isn't an atom, it's a molecule. It doesn't have radioactive decay if that's what you're wondering (although it can have luminescence)
2. "Chemical interaction/reactiom on a molecular level in the body" first, almost everything will have a chemical interaction in the body, unless it's helium (the most independent of the noble gases) in which case it's a much more macroscopic interaction. Also all chemical interactions are on the molecular level. If you're wondering if it's a harmful vs a beneficial interaction, well that's much more complicated.
As I've mentioned before though, graphene is literally pencil lead (not in pencil lead, it comprises it). So, if it did cause issues with the trace amounts that would be found in masks, we'd have noticed by now with kids licking pencils.

There isn't an advantage to the chinese masks but a company named ZEN Graphene Solutions has produced a different compound of graphene-oxide and silver, where silver has been known for centuries to have antiviral and anti bacterial properties. They call it ZENGuard. A little on the nose but it looks promising and their safety testing looks good

Fun fact: graphite is made of graphene. This means that if you want to know if graphene is normally magnetic you just need a #2 pencil and a magnet. As someone in possession of both: it does not appear that graphene is normally magnetic. I also don't seem noticeably magnetic. I'll keep an eye out for magnetic meat.
So idk. Some brief research tells me that some graphene is safer than others. I can't say i fully understand that so I'll have to look into it more. Hopefully there isn't too much unhealthy graphene in the air, not sure what would be releasing it other than some masks
