    I use live in plano in the 90’s went to college in texas from 90-93 Jimmy King is a Plano basketball legend. Let me say I met him in Marshal’s after the Fab 5 run one of the nicest humble dudes I’ve met. Sad how much politics played a part in his career man was sooo talented all around and for Fab 5

    Yeah man anyone who didn't get to see yall play live might not be able to fully appreciate how freakish Ray and Jimmy were as athletes. I remember watching Ray move oh the court. He would start out in one spot then all of sudden he'd be in the lane else going up like wtf!! And Jimmy, man that dude could just straight jump out the gym and had underated handles!!!
    People don't realize how all of yall sacrificed individual accolades to commmit and be a part of something special. But for sure Ray and Jimmy dont always get the props they deserve. RESPECT

    This is so true I played against those dudes. Jaylen Chris, Ray in the nationals out at Arkansas State in 1990-91 and Dick Vital spoke to the auditorium of like 700 bball players. He specifically said that out of everyone in here maybe 4 will make it to the NBA the auditorium went in an uproar of me-me-me-me. I kid you not only 4 made it out of that class. Three of the fab five and Cornelius the big man from Virginia that was giving C.Web the business out there. And I always said the shitted on jimmy and ray and he’ll a few others that was hella good out there.

    Ray Jackson was the truth! I was a freshman his senior year at LBJ. Catching the wave of his coattails allowed me to get promoted to varsity when they went to the state playoffs. He's still a great guy, super humble and an icon in our community.

    I always really like Jimmy King and Ray Jackson more than the other guys, somewhat because they were really good and just didn’t get the same shine or credit. Both of them were highly athletic and played above the rim especially Ray Jackson. They had them cold ass hood games, cool, silky and explosive.
