Very nice. Thank you for posting. I was stationed in Juneau for 4 years and travelled around quite a bit up there in my old Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, but never made it out towards Valdez and McCarthy. I forgot how beautiful it is up there so I appreciate you posting your journey to remind me and show an area I've never been too. Looks like you lucked out on the weather for that time of year. May and June seem to be the best months for good weather in Alaska.
Another good adventure is to take your vehicle on is the Alaska Marine Highway from Bellvue, WA up to Skagway or Haines (allow at least 3 beautiful days ride on the ferry) and drive up into the Yukon and back down thru British Columbia. Lots of wonderful towns like Whitehorse up there to visit. With enough advance planning you can even stop off the ferry for a day or more in some of the beautiful SE Alaska towns like Ketchikan and Juneau to really get to know the places and people. Mostly quaint hotels and B&B places to stay on that leg of the trip vs dispersed camping. Not a lot of offroad trails in Alaska vs lower 48 if you don't count the logging roads. Also bears are something to always be aware of if camping or hiking anywhere up there. Nice to see from a distance, but not in camp.

Awesome video as always Coddiwomple Overland. McCarthy is such a unique and full of life place for being remote as it is but well worth the journey. Sad that y'all couldn't film the Mine.

Yes, McCarthy is so unique. The mine was incredible. We also wish we could have filmed it for everyone to see.
