  • Kajukenbo Portugal: / kajukenboportugal
    Kajukenbo ist eine Kampfsportart. Der Name setzt sich aus den Anfangsbuchstaben der verwendeten Systeme zusammen: Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo und chinesisches Boxen und wurde von Adriano D. Emperado in Honolulu, Hawaii, in den Jahren 1947 bis 1949 entwickelt.
    Bei der Entwicklung hatte er Unterstützung anderer Meister verschiedener Kampfkünste, Choo (Koreanisches Karate - Dangsudo), Holeck (Kōdōkan (Jūdō)) und Chang (Kung Fu). In den Jahren von 1947 und 1949 arbeiteten diese Instruktoren zusammen und entwickelten langsam den Kajukenbo-Stil. Die Veränderung ereignete sich 1959, als Adriano Emperado die Shaolin-Kampfkunst mit dem Kajukenbo vereinigte.
    Dieser sanfte Stil legt mehr Wert auf die Kenpo-Elemente im Kajukenbo, und seine Basis ist die Verbindung zwischen den nördlichen und südlichen Stilen der chinesischen Kampfkunst. Die nördlichen Stile, charakterisiert durch lange, weitreichende Techniken, und die südlichen Stile, charakterisiert durch kurze, enge, harte und weiche Infight-Techniken, wurden zu einer all diese Elemente umfassenden Kampfkunst, kombiniert mit einer anwendbaren Selbstverteidigung.

      Exactly! Looks great while scripted and no resistance but lets see some high level guys in action. To me it looks like there is a lot of wasted movements. I'm sorry but you wont get a fraction of the combos shown on an actual aggressor.

    • @followingfist6
      @followingfist6 Před 6 lety

      Travis Williams: A wise man told me. You'll most like uses pièces of a technique during an actual fight. Because of what you just stated! The hardest part of learning MA is actual application of techniques. That's why the kenpo system Im involved with (BKf/Ken Wing T'ai Ba) do not teach theory. It's about actualization. Fighting with karate against someone else who knows how to punch/kick/grab, etc. What we're not seeing in a lot of these vidéos is the reality of an attack. Otherwise it's like someone stated...the attacker doesn't react properly to being hit. Which make a technique appear unrealistic.

      Dear Hans-Peter Rumo, thanks for your answer. You can mantain the video IF this points are dealt: 1. Tell me who is the person with no GI in a garden...he is not Kajukenbo(from my knowledge), if so you should take him off. 2. Write Kajukenbo Portugal when my videos appear.
      Waiting for your answer. Have a great 2017!

      Hans-Peter Rumo. I like that my clips were in there but I do have to agree that I would've liked credit plus for you to have asked my permission to use the clips. It's okay that you used them. Just letting you know that I would like to be asked next time.

    • @ElNintendoReviewer
      @ElNintendoReviewer Před 7 lety

      Kajukenbo Portugal. The garden clips were mine and I find your accusation offensive. In the videos where my clips were from, I was demonstrating the Emperado method of Kajukenbo as modified by Grand Master Harper of California and taught by Sigung Christian Smith of Tribull Martial Arts Centers in San Jose. Yes I was not wearing a GI. The video was made as a simple demonstration for some of my viewers who were perhaps interested in self defense, mainly kajukenbo. It was done on a more casual level (not in the gym where I train). Please be more considerate before accusing me or anyone else of not being Kajukenbo.

    • @kajukenboportugal1684
      @kajukenboportugal1684 Před 7 lety

      Ok brother, as I saw you are a green belt in Kajukenbo so it's normal I don't know you as I could know an instructor. Not that the rank matters that much but I understood (wrongly) there was some guy trying to be shown with some Kajukenbo Black Belts to credit himself. Sorry! Keep up! :)

    I'm not sure these guys know how to defend against punches (multiply).Maybe that's why they don't spar.

    • @Groomsman
      @Groomsman Před 5 lety

      Ivo Donchev What did you mean by “multiply”? Did you mean against multiple people? Also Kajukenbo practitioners do spar

    • @ivodonchev8358
      @ivodonchev8358 Před 5 lety

      I mean i don't think they know how to deflect punches one after another. I only saw them deflect one punch and apply counter. But maybe this is for the sake of the demonstration. In a full power sparring however...deflecting punches with full power. Thats what i live for.and that's the ultimate blocking technique test.Also they mostly block straight punches.What about hooks and uppercuts. :)

    • @Groomsman
      @Groomsman Před 5 lety

      Ivo Donchev Well they could always dodge hooks and uppercuts. What martial art do you take?

    • @ivodonchev8358
      @ivodonchev8358 Před 5 lety

      @@Groomsman I don't take any specific art.I practice with my friends in the military.Btw in the demonstration these guys counter by changing the angle only 1 time.That is very unrealistic.Most likely the opponent will immediately turn face to face with them.Therefore to apply these techniques(stepping sideways and counter) shown they have to change angles at least 2 times :)

    • @Groomsman
      @Groomsman Před 5 lety

      Ivo Donchev Well that’s why they practice and spar. Nobody should ever expect things that happen in demos to happen in real life.

  • @jossebasdecarglass8633
