Thanks for the helpful videos. I was in Pittsburgh for the first time with my cousin a few weeks back over a quick weekend to see a Pirates game. We didn't really have a lot time do to much besides walk around PNC Park, but the city looked so awesome that I'm bringing my family back for a week the 2nd week of August. We're really stoked. I'm from St. Louis, and they seem like similar sized cities, but Pittsburgh seems like they have a lot more to do. Can't wait to come back and explore your beautiful city.
I’ve been to Pittsburgh many times, it’s a fascinating vibrant city.
You're killin it with these Burgh videos man. Great job! I just subscribed.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate the support!
That wiz ending was nice as hell
Moved to Colorado 6 years ago now I’m wishing I never left. Yinzer 4 life
The welding people?
Great video. Thank you.
Great insights into your city. I’ll be in town tomorrow and can’t wait to explore.
One thing about Fallingwater though...you have to reserve a tour time. And generally the times are filled up for several weeks ahead. So check their website. Locals in Ohiopyle are known to recommend to book a Fallingwater tour time first, then base the rest of your trip around that.
Other great Day Trips from Pittsburgh (we'll define that as places within a 90 minute drive of Pittsburgh).
1- Cooper's Rock State Park, West Virginia (beautiful mountains, rock climbing, etc.)
2- Laurel Caverns (great cavern network down near Uniontown)
3- Seven Springs Resort (great skiing in the winter, great downhill mountain biking in the summer)
4- Meadowcroft Village (interesting historical site- ancient native american settlement and authentic houses of the 1700's)
5- Ogelbay Park, West Virginia (a great year round park with some of the best Christmas lights in the area)
6- Meadows Racetrack & Casino, Washington, PA. (a casino/ horse racing track just south of town in Washington, PA.)
7- Cheat Lake, West Virginia (think Lake Arthur in Moraine only more mountainous)
8.- Youghegheny whitewater rafting (this is in Ohiopyle and this river has up to class-5 rapids nearby).
9- Flight 93 Memorial (sad obviously, but a beautiful and respectful place where that plane went down)
10- Nemacolin Woodlands (a 5 star amazing spa/resort southwest of the city in the mountains)
Moriane St Pk has a fantastic disc golf course. DG is great in this northern Pitt region. I stop there at least once a year for the past 30 years.
As a native Pittsburgher, great video.
I‘d love to go for a hike in Frick Park! Looks gorgeous. Great video Drew ☺️
Appreciate it buddy!
Also go to the Frick manor too, it's a beautiful Victorian-style mansion
I love this drone footage bro! What drone do you use? Also I feel like I’m becoming a local now that I know so much about the city.
DJI Mavic Pro. Hahahah glad to hear that!
The overlook is beautiful, also did you get any complaints flying a drone there?
It really is! I did not
Nice
