Pittsburgh is a historic city, and several of its most notable attractions honor that. Start by browsing the Carnegie Science Center or Museums of Art or Natural History, then visit the Senator John Heinz History Museum.
Many of its historic sites honor the city’s most notable residents and their legacies. Visit the Andy Warhol Museum or the Big Mac Museum.
Some of the best things to do in Pittsburgh are also the strangest. You’ll see a range of art made of repurposed trash at Randyland and macabre items at Trundle Manor and The Weeping Glass.
Pittsburgh has always been a town that has a strong love for sports, and several of its attractions celebrates this history. Honor its most famous baseball player at the Roberto Clemente Museum or stop by Heinz Field or PNC Park on game day.
Another essential part of Pittsburgh’s history is its designation as the “steel city.” The best way to get a glimpse into this is a visit to the Carrie Furnaces, one of the last remaining blast furnaces in the world.
The industrialization hasn’t taken all of the natural beauty out of the city. Enjoy the surrounding greenery at Grandview Park, Point State Park, or the Melton Park Walled Garden.
Pittsburgh is also a great place to relax and get a drink after a long day of traveling. Stop by the Allegheny Wine Mixer or Church Brew Works. You can also go to the Square Cafe, Pannit’s Bakery, or The Original Oyster House for a bite to eat.

Best Things to Do in Pittsburgh, PA
Anyone else notice the Oceanside, CA in the intro?
This was - hands down - the best video of the area that I've found so far! 😀
Yay! Thank you! Which city or location would you like us to cover next?
I grew up in Pgh in the 60's and 70's. This video, unlike all the other videos of Pgh. Showed me many spots of Pgh I never knew existed! So I'm with you on this being the most in-depth video of the many atractions of this great city!!!!!
Surprised there was no mention of Station Square and/or the Gateway Clipper Fleet.
You should mention the 10 days in July when the Vintage Grand Prix is held in Pittsburgh. It is the only vintage race held on city streets and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The proceeds benefits our two charities and to date we have donated over $ 40 million to them.
Thank you for the tip! We'll look into it ♥
Great tour! 👍
Thanks for watching! We're glad to know that you love our video. If we may ask, which city/location would you like us to cover next?
Nice roundup. Zoo is in Highland Park, not Shadyside. I would also include the Forbes Field wall in Oakland.
Amazing
Thanks for watching! We're so glad you enjoyed this video. What other types of video would you like to see?
Definitely should check out the Cathedral of Learning on Pitt campus.
Fun stuff, thank you for the tip! Which city/location would you like us to cover next?
The Nationality Rooms at many time but esp. in the Xmas season when they are decorated in that room’s holiday style!
They missed Bicycle Heaven, noted as the largest bicycle museum in the country.
i am going to pittsburgh find some places to get a philly cheesesteak sub. so far I cant find a single place there on line
You can start by putting the "H" on the name....Pittsburgh
Give us Burghers our “ h” back !
@@conniecrawford5231 exactly what I was going to say. Before going there, learn to spell Pittsburg-H correctly.
The missing "h" tends to tick people off.
What does the PA stand for
I'm the Don of Pittsburgh.
Go Steelers
Go, go, go!
I like the bum shit on Smithfield that I pass every day
I went to ICM School of Business on Wood Street 1986-1987; me and my best friend (at the time) used to smoke weed behind the YWCA and there was always a pile of doo doo in the alley.
One day it was in the door way and some poor lady was walking out of the back door and step right in it, kind of ruined her day.
You should learn how to spell Pgh before going online with your site.
Fallingwater should not be in this! It's 60 miles from the Burgh!
