Fun facts: this was written by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy and upcoming Superman) and Freddie and Daphne got married in real life since this movie came out
I can't remember how many days and nights this dvd was on repeat on my small portable screenplayer when I was a kid- lmao so much nostalgia- awesome feel good movie....the sequel is also great!

I loved both these movies as a kid. Mystery Inc was perfectly cast. Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Linda Cardellini as Velma and Freddy Prinze Jr. as Fred were AMAZING. And it's hilarious how Scooby's nephew was the villain of the movie. lol
Aside from Shaggy and obviously Scooby, my favorite member of Mystery Inc. is Velma.

The first one is still good but second one did somethings better than the first one but the first two scooby doo live actions are still better than Scoob, Daphne and Velma and Curse of the lake monster and mystery begins.

When it comes Scooby-Doo, I'm a Fred guy. When it comes to Scream, I'm a Sidney guy. Both Scream and Scooby-Doo: The Movie are one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
My favorite character was Fred. Growing up as a Scooby-Doo fan, I've always been a huge Fred fan. I thought Freddie Prize Jr definitely nailed the Fred character.
I can't wait for you to see the live action prequels. The actress who plays Daphne in the prequels, Kate Melton is from Oklahoma like me and we have corresponded through emails. She was very helpful on a story we did about the SAG Strike.
Cool fact about this movie and the sequel is that both were written by James Gunn who would go on to write and direct the Guardians Of The Galaxy trilogy, The Suicide Squad and Superman: Legacy

Its so funny how they make it seem like they are always high on marijuana, but its just food. They had smoke pouring out of their van from the grill, and they tried to snag as much food and get away as fast as possible.😂😂

I remember watching this movie as a kid!
I watch this movie so many times when I was growing up. However, the one thing I hate about thid movie was Scrappy being the main antagonist. He deserves better. Matthew Lillard was literally the perfect casting as Shaggy! Plus, he even voice the character in cartoons after the previous voice actor passed away.
Scrappy being the villain was my favorite part 😅. I hated the Scrappy episodes of the cartoon haha.

Honestly I don’t like this movie, it’s all mean-spirited and it’s partly this movie’s fault fans still promote Scrappy-Doo hate so much (he deserves to be brought back and get a second chance to be made likable)
