This is a real 3rd generation M1045A2 military HMMWV that retired from the USMC in late 2018.
It has a few harder to find parts and a truly rare low profile Ibis Tek front bumper, as well as a fully operational rotating hatch and mount assembly in the roof, with an aluminum chicken shield. The 6.5L diesel and 4 speed transmission result in a comfortable cruising speed around 80 mph. 1st and 2nd generation HMMWVs are limited to about 57 mph.
This is NOT an H1 Hummer, which is the civilian version of the HMMWV. However, when the HMMWV project created these beasts they often said "Hummer", since "HMMWV" is hard to say.

However, you have to repair/tinker them if you are getting the cheapest one (obviously) to operational condition on the road. Maybe someday. Right now I am still paying for my truck and car payments which is too much to get another one. :) If I get one, it will definitely going to the wood.

With the release of the Turbo rigs selling for $7000 average it dropped the price of this rig by tens of thousands. I’d say in 2022 it would sell for $20,000. I just bought a Turret top M1167 4 months ago for $21,000.00. Yep. $21k. My 2(M998’s) and my (2) M1123’s are worthless now. I could sell for maybe $12k at best. Nice rig tho.

Nope.
AC is tricky in a HMMWV. The military options are all bulky and awkward installations that take up a lot of interior space. And to really be effective a LOT of insulation is required. So, most HMMWV owners don't bother. Besides... AC isn't useful when you drive around with no doors >1/2 of the year.

Almost forgot to turn those headlights on huh lol. Nice truck..price? Ps please dont tell people to drive 80 mph in these vehicles they are absolutely not designed for those speeds and they do not handle roll overs very well..
Yeah. Was too bright out to need the headlights, but I wanted the turn signals and brake lights to work. :)
I have mixed feelings on driving HMMWVs 80 mph.
The H1s have the same running gear and run 80 routinely.
Most military HMMWVs on the roads have the 3 speed. So anything above about 57 mph is pushing them too hard.
For 4 speed trucks the drivetrain can handle it, but the overall condition of the rest of the truck is critical in determining whether it is safe or not.

But if we are being honest, most any vehicle that rolls at 80 mph is going to result in a yard sale. I wouldn't feel any less safe driving my HMWMV 80 mph vs a similarly equipped jeep.
