beyond, I was already hyped on the reveal, wishlisted it asap after the Showcase and then soon as my PS5 said: oh hey, we can preorder this... My wallet just cried xD. I have the Digital Deluxe all set to go the very second my PS5 tells me I can. It's so good, my lady
I was at the start when they put it in the Showcase, wishlisted instantly. Soon as Sony told my PS5 we could actually preorder- no thought needed so made my poor wallet cry xD and grabbed the Digital Deluxe. It's so good, my lady- it is my GotY easy
I cannot wait for this game!! Also if you like the piano, I recommend playing Neir Automata as I belive the music for this game is inspired by it!!
@@gemma495 40% of the OST was by Keiichi Okabe and his talented team who created NieR: Automata's legendary sound, the rest ShiftUp created in-house. Kim is a major NieR fanboy though, he's said from the start it resonated with and inspired him so he must have majorly fanboyed out when Keiichi agreed to do some music and Yoko Taro gave his love and support. Yoko on X said he's as pumped as us players to get his hands on the retail version on the 26th so we'll have 2B's creator with us planet-diving into fight back the Naytibas which is just legendary

@@eternalchamp3882 I was going to get the physical copy myself but you can’t get the digital dlc stuff so I’m forced to preorder the digital deluxe version I hate paying full price for games especially now since it’s $70 dollars these days but I’m going out of my way to not only buy it but buy the more expensive version of it. Not to mention I’ll probably buy it physical sometime down the line so I can have something physical. Nier automata never really appealed to me much. hence I never really cared to play it. 2b isn’t ugly I can see her appeal just isn’t in eves league personally

I played this demo and can't wait for full game. It feels so smooth. The mechanics, menu, combat, graphics, the part of story we have seen. Not even mention the music...that is just...something else. ❤
But what I can tell you is this. If you love the combat, music and atmosphere. You SHOULD one day try games Nier. The music is partly from the same composer and people in this game are fans of that game and took inspiration plus I have heard they even got to talk or maybe even cooperate (? Not sure on this part I heard it somewhere) with creators of that series as well. 😊
Yep! We will be getting a Nier outfit collab. Hyung Tae Kim, creator of Stellar Blade and CEO of Shift Up, said if fans request it he will try to make it happen but we will have to pay for IP’s owned by other companies, which I’m completely fine with.

One thing I find that makes nailing the blue light response every single time is that already be moving in the direction of the monster and keep spamming the circle. Because when the monster turns blue, they're not attacking you. It's such a big window rather than waiting for your sword to flash blue and press it.
It wasn't so much the timing that I struggled with, but because I also learned Repulse (purple light) at the same time as Blink (blue light), I kept confusing them during battle. I pointed the joystick in the wrong direction 😅 I ended up getting it down in the boss challenge, but for me, it's remembering that blue is up and purple is down lol.

That was an amazing demo, i loved the combat, i loved the graphics, i loved the eye candy but most of all i loved the soundtrack! i had Eidos 7 soundtrack on repeat for a whole day it was soo good
The combat feels really good! I also love beautiful characters, and my eyes have been blessed lol Ohhh! I was listening to a soundtrack video all day yesterday! I especially love the song that plays on the PlayStation game select menu, which plays during my intro. Gahh it's sooo good !

Yes I record on PC using OBS. I use a game capture that's connected to my PS5 and PC. My mic is connected to the PC, and my mic audio and game audio are recorded separately. Hope that helps! Good luck! ☺

You got skills. Abaddon first try. Wish I could say I was that good. I was particularly impressed by that maneuver at 1:34:42. I would have panicked and thought I was screwed once I hit that wall. You just dodged back and kept rolling.

If you focus on enemy with R3 you can change focus by moving R to the direction of enemy you want even if it is behind you

I was very surprised and pleased by the demo. I was cautiously interested in the game since it's announcement but trailers made it seem like a Bayonetta or a DMC sorta game. I'm not interested in that. But the demo showed me it's much more like a highly stylized Souls game and I couldn't possibly be more on board for that. I was wild about the demo. I'm definitely getting it day one.
I haven't played those other games so I didn't know what to expect in terms of gameplay. Since most people described it as soulslike, I assumed it would be too difficult for me, but I'm pleased that I got the combat down for the most part and so incredibly excited for its release! I'm getting more hyped with each passing day!

I wanted the short hair so I could see her outfit and body more 😂 it's ok, I've seen plenty of videos with the long hair!
That first cut scene is scripted and if Eve doesn't heal, her and Tachy defeat the mini-boss, but if she chooses to heal, then the fight lasts longer, eventually ending the same way. Anyway, Tachy is beautiful and I wish that she would have been the main character, the outfits are beatiful as well and the whole game is beautiful, well made and will be a masterpiece of a game. Lastly, you are a decent player too. Subscribed.
EDIT: The sacanner and the sword are your friends. You missed many items along the way and those car hoods (which requires 3 solid hits on the hood), and statues are destructable items that will gain you money and other valuable items. The G stands for gold or Vitcoin. Use hint to reveal the passcodes. Always keep your eyes loking up, down, left and right while using the scanner and sometimes without the scanner too, as there are many hidden locations. You could have climbed and gone even further back to another hidden area in that first area where you swam underwater. Oh and, use the exploding barrels to your advantage in damaging the nearby enemies. All the experience you gain in the demo, carries over to the full game when it releases, if you choose that route, or you can just start a new game if you prefer. More skills will unlock ways to defend and counter against those colored circles that appear above the enemies heads. Practice makes perfect. You have a gun available in the boss challenge too. And yes, there is a way to change the gamma (brightness) settings. Good luck, have fun and game on!

I played the demo and also did decently despite no experience with a Souls game... you picked it up way faster though! The bosses killed me multiple times. The graphics, art style, and story all seem beautiful, and I accordingly preordered. It seems to share a lot of similarities with Nier Automata which has a fantastic story. Really looking forward to it!
It didn't feel ridiculously hard like the souls games I've tried, but it still had enough challenge for me. This game really clicked for me! I definitely need to check out NieR after this!
@21:29 you might need to adjust your screen brightness/gamma because I can see clearly.
I will try that! It can also be because of the light I use shining on my face 😅 it sometimes makes it difficult for me to see my tv when I'm in a low lit or dark area.
@@sagexsiren The brightness stuff of the game is in the display menu and then you gotta choose the display settings.. it makes you set the max brightness and darkness if using HDR and regular brightness if not 😊 But I get why you missed it with the quick check as usually brightness is just a slider right there

How could you say you fumbled Abaddon when you killed it on first try? I died several times trying to beat it on my first encounter. 😭
he got me three times, first I was unprepared and in the Skin Suit, second I was trying to practice xD third was me screwing it up royally xD that was Story Mode, on Normal as a replay to look around; owned him first go xD. Stalker though in Boss Challenge was a pest to get and even now I beat him twice.... out of like twenty attempts discounting training to practice
Hahah I felt like I could have done better 😅 but I fumbled on the skills I had JUST trained beforehand! I kept mixing the skills with the blue and purple light 🥲
@@sagexsiren don't worry we all screw that up. I was practicing the Perfect Parry timing that one of our gamer gals, Krystal who loves Souls games- figured out. She holds block, as the enemy attacks; let go then re-press. It takes getting used to but it works fantastically well. Main note-
No glow- block/ Perfect Parry
Yellow Glow - dodge with Circle. They cannot be blocked.
Blue Glow, Sword glow- Dodge towards enemy
Purple/ pink glow, Sword glow- Dodge away from enemy to Eve's back
It's the glows that many mess up. I did see I believe she was Alina one of the VODs on occasion hit the enemy just as the glows appear but if you miss then Eve is getting punished badly.
