Both decisions was red cards .skipp shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place for a tackle that Gerrard was sent off in 2015 against Manchester United on Herrera. And jota's one is one i have seen in the world cup in 2010 when spain played holland and mane was sent off against Manchester city . Also where was the consistency when halaand did jota's challenge in rhe crystal palace gane.

It’s not a red at all and nowhere in the rules says it is a red. It’s a standard high boot and a yellow card by definition. It’s barely above Jota’s waist height and he’s not a tall guy. Above waist height is specified in the rules for a yellow. Just because a player flung his head into another player’s foot doesn’t make it a red. It’s not violent conduct and it’s not serious foul play. Again, one or both of these things is specified in the rules for it to be a red. There was no lunge, there was no force and it wasn’t head hight. Again, head hight is specified for a red. He just raised his foot from a standing position and the contact was unfortunate the way Skipp came in. And if that’s a red then the challenge on Diaz is a red so complaining one way is asinine, especially since that was way earlier and Spurs (and Skipp) wouldn’t have even been in the game had that happened.
