on the aiming reticle u will see a red circle start to form when you are shooting. If the red circle fills your guns will jam. Also if you play realistic mode if you jam your gun you have to land to fix it

​@@strayamade Here's the thing, because there are realistic flight models in RB you can actually use real world defensive manoeuvres. You just can't do that in arcade where if someone gets on your tail you are basically dead. In some ways it's easier to survive in RB once you grasp the basics. Also aircraft performance is much more important so you feel like you really have to learn to fly each individual aircraft (and know your opponents) which makes it much more satisfying experience. Obviously there is a learning curve to RB and it can be a little intimidating at first but I'd defo recommend it. I think we all played Arcade first and it can be messy for a while during the transition, especially aiming and getting used to planes actually obeying the laws of physics, but I'm glad I made the change.
