[2024 Update] How to Combine Words & Shapes in Cricut Design Space

This is an update to my most-watched video on how to put text inside a shape in Cricut Design Space. This video uses Design Space's current features and capabilities to make it even easier to make custom hearts, stars and other shapes with a name inside them.
Once you start turning shapes and words into beautiful designs you will be able to use them for so many different things. They are a great way to personalise gifts and add to your scrapbook layouts.

This did not work for me. I created a micky mouse outline and tried to do this, but the "slice" option was grayed out. HELP!

This is when you have more than two layers selected. Make sure that you only have the bottom layer and the layer you are using to slice selected. Hope that helps 😁
