Wales is a country he knows particularly well from his days there as a university student - and of course he was invested as Prince of Wales more than a half a century ago.
But the relationship is not without controversy.
Even this week, the King's decision to declare his son William as Prince of Wales prompted a petition calling for an end to the title.

Yeah, great idea if you want to be taxed to death! Do you people not realise what independence actually entails? Brexit should have been a good example of what nationalistic ideology brings you, but no, idiots never learn!🙄

@cpm no currency, no economy, high unemployment, high crime rates, high immigrant numbers and a government that wants to import much more! All this costs money, not enough income to cover it without aid from Westminster,
Wakes hasn’t been an independent nation for centuries, in today’s world wakes hasn’t anything to compete with, too small and not enough workers.
Another fact that will guarantee wakes won’t remain independent is that all those politicians in the assembly that talk about independent actually want wales to be part of the Eu and controlled by Brussels.

Not only at our modern officialdom's proud adoption of , and absolute commitment to, an unbounded 'free speech' , but also, no matter the jurisdiction, just how pluralistic and mature it has since become; in its outlook, its perception of its role and its day to day dealings with the public.

    Do you need Welsh blood?

Do you have to be born in Wales?
Because there obviously is a welsh identity but what really decides it.
Could a person who is black identify as welsh if they are welsh culturally and by birth. Or do they need welsh genetics and if so how much.
For King Charles when he was prince of Wales he was missing only 1 of these thing(being born in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 instead of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿). Yet this video seems to suggest he was lacking something.

Finally the queen died, and this joy is not limited to us but to her son who waits so long to become king, and in the original is that a woman does not have to be a queen because the rule is forbidden to them...

What is this ahistorical nonsense? Britain has had several queens, and they've often been influential figures. And with the Queen leading the change to absolute versus male primogeniture, the UK will have more in the future.

    Hello again...
Our hands 🤝 will be full of support for his Majesty's King Charles 3rd and his Government as much as possible...(28) - And be patient with those who call on their Lord in the morning and in the evening, seeking His face, and do not turn your eyes away from them, desiring the adornment of the life of the world, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and follow his whims and his commands were in vain.
