    • @ciaolallala96
      @ciaolallala96 Před 4 lety +22

      @@roryboytube I think it's required of an actor to express a bit more angst and emotion, even when there's none revealed by the actual person recorded in a footage widely shown. For example, the first ever televised Christmas speech of the Queen shows a relaxed woman, merry and jolly as you would expect from someone wishing happy holidays to their people. The smile in Claire Foy's Queen tells a different story because that's what you'd expect after you'd been told what's happening behind the camera. Of course, I'm kinda stating the obvious saying an actor is supposed to show emotion, but a little bit more (mind you, I'm not talking about over acting) is still functional to a good narration of the story. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, though. Olivia Colman is great and I hope she nailed the character.

    My great uncle, who was born in England in 1910 and died in 2020 at the age of 110, was there because he had good contact with the royal family, especially with Prince Philip, from whom he took his middle name. The contact came from the fact that he served in the royal family's bodyguard from the age of 20 to 73. My great uncle William Philip, called Phil by us, received an award from King 👑 George VI in 1947 and in 2017 he received a medal for his services to his home country in Kensington Palace. My family and I were there. I also often took part in Trouping the Colour. In 2019, a year before his death, he was knighted by the current King Charles III and was then allowed to call himself Sir for another year.

She had faith in Charles, and was guilty as a mom, by not being there for him, having to travel so much around the world. Which when she had him, she didn't know that her father would die and she would become Queen so early in her marriage. They even broke up after having Ann.
