Elden Ring is set in a dark fantasy world called the "Lands Between." The world was created by the Elden Ring, a powerful object that has been shattered, leading to chaos and turmoil. Players assume the role of the "Tarnished," a character who has been exiled and embarks on a quest to restore the Elden Ring and bring order to the world.
Elden Ring is known for its intentionally cryptic and enigmatic storytelling style, where much of the lore is left open to interpretation and speculation. Players may need to piece together clues, engage in speculative discussions with the community, and make their own interpretations to fully understand the lore of Elden Ring and its intricacies.
In alot of my videos we break down the epic tale of Elden Ring, from its origins to its climactic finale. We analyse the intricate web of narratives, the fates of key characters, and the deep lore that binds this fantastical world together.

Quick note corpse wax is real. "Adipocere, also known as corpse wax, grave wax or mortuary wax, is a wax-like organic substance formed by the anaerobic bacterial hydrolysis of fat in tissue, such as body fat in corpses. In its formation, putrefaction is replaced by a permanent firm cast of fatty tissues, internal organs, and the face." and was used to make candles and soap.

That substance had a direct effect on the death of Dave Shaw. He was a deep cave diver and was recovering the body of another diver who had turned to soap. Even though he lost his own life, he did actually get them both to the surface. The soap helped them float up too.

I think the more disturbing thing forgotten here, is yes, the HEADS are made of copper-but these could also be literal heads WITHIN COPPER DEATHMASKS. Then it all makes sense as far as the ‘captivity’ of his family….still incredibly sad, so many things in this game circle around grief and the depths humans fall to when alone.
The pumpkin head helmet, knowing it was made WITH consideration, I would say was to ward off the outer god from where the trolls originally came…also why its made to look gold, being loyal to the golden order. Reminded me of Igi’s mirror helmet

One item I'd like to recommend for a part 2 is "Black dumpling", a torture mask for albanerics.
I remember trying to get references for the Family Heads in game. I wish Fromsoft would tweak the graphics on that weapon alone. Zlofsky got a great ref of the family heads but they're kind of hard to see due to the copper texture. Necromancer Garris is nearby Mt Gelmir, Jake is a Mimic did a video all about the sage cave. Highly recommend if you watch it for a free day.
Best location to see Corpsewax is in Nokstella after you get the shortcut from Ranni. There's a area with dead gargoyles almost like a factory.

Oh, I really enjoyed this one, like I always do! NEVER apologize for being sick. Like I have said before, PLEASE, your health is more important than uploading can ever be, take care of yourself first! You were in the hospital too, Oh, God! I hope you are better soon! Back to the vid, Miquella is not the most fearsome Empyrean for nothing! His power has been greatly underestimated, and maybe we'll see what he is capable of soon! I have a crazy theory for you, maybe some of the Outer Gods, and their avatars/vessels, worked together in a hidden conspiracy, to make sure Miquella does not become a full God! His abilities are so extreme, he can cut off entirely the influence of Outer Gods! At first, the Greater Will picked him and his sister to be possible replacements for Queen Marika. But, Malenia's Scarlet Rot was a big problem, so, she became Miquella's Defender instead. Miquella in the beginning, tried to help his sister, and those shunned, through the Golden Order, and, we know how well that turned out. So they both left the Golden Order, and Miquella ramped up his plans to not only cure Malenia, but to raise himself to full Godhood. When the Higher Up's, to put it simply, started to actually realize what Miquella is capable of and has the potential of becoming, I think they started to hatch a plan to stop Miquella from becoming a full God! It couldn't be too obivious, because of The Shattering War, and Godwyn's murder, so, maybe the Formless Mother "influenced" Mohg to kidnap him from the Haligtree, and, S%#@, I just thought this, maybe the not PHYSICALY present Outer God of Rot, did the same with Malenia, to go to Caelid, and fight Radahn! There was no actual good or tactical reason for her to do that otherwise! I can't help to think, but, what if Mohg is telling the truth, that Miquella wanted him to taken from the Haligtree? Maybe he "saw" somehow what is going to happen to Malenia and the Haligtree, in dreams or a vision, and started HIS "Plan B"! To make the best of a s%#@ situation! For what we have seen, Mohg and the Formless Mother's power is damn close of actually raising him to a full God! Well have to wait and see what the DLC has to be sure! I'm also imagining, what if Miquella succeeded after Godwyn's murder? FULL Godhood, a CURED Malenia, her full battle potential for all to see, no longer hampered by Scarlet Rot! He definitely would have declared war on those responsible for his half-brother's murder! The entire Lands Between would see how fearsome he could be! No one would have been able to stop him or stand in his way! After that war had concluded, he would enact his Ultimate Plan, to free the Lands Between from ALL Outer God influence, through his Unalloyed Gold! He could either fix the existing Haligtree, or, after killing what was left of the Erdtree, because of the whole Deathblight thing, make a new Haligtree right there in Leyndell! Since no Outer God influence, probably, no Blood or Frenzy Flame issues either! If Mohg and Morgott are still alive after it all, they still would keep watch over the Frenzy Flame anyway, it's Chaos it'self, too dangerous to be left alone or ignored! Through Miquella, it's confinement would be more secure than ever! So, that's the reason for the Outer God "possible secret plan", Miquella as full God, would be a threat to all of them, and they acted before he could! Since you seem to really like my crazy theories, I put this one here! I REALLY hope you feel better soon! YOU are more important than uploading! If YT don't like it, they know where to jump, LOL!

I think you're right about the dragon head fist weapon, when Godrick attaches it, it looks like it comes alive again. Maybe grafting imparts life as part of its effect. Though it may make me a monster but thinking of a living dragon on my fist is kind of awesome.

@@theemeraldgecko310 I am a very passionate collector of words, and eager to share! For example, my current favorite word is eurypterid, giant prehistoric sea scorpions that if alive today could easily kill and consume a human. A close second is reverberate because the word almost sounds like it means but not exactly.

In Elden Ring, the corpsewax weapons pay subtle tribute to the ancient practice of using bone as a carbon source to forge steel weapons. But that's not all - the game also nods to the beliefs of ancient cultures, who believed that incorporating the bones of their ancestors or powerful animals, like bears, into their weapons would infuse them with the spirits of the dead. This ancient notion of imbuing weapons with the essence of the departed is echoed in the corpsewax weapons, which seem to channel the dark energy of the Lands Between. By drawing on these historical and mythological roots, the game's weaponry takes on a deeper, otherworldly significance, connecting players to the rich cultural heritage of our ancestors."

While not an item, the Abductor Virgins are not creepy for no reason. Their designs are based on the infamous torture decree known as the Iron Maiden which was like a large coffin-like structure with many spikes inside that people were locked inside.
Allegedly, the story of the supposed vampire named Carmila used those to drain the blood of virgin maidens to bathe in so she could preserve her beauty/youth…
    It’s freaky stuff.

I imagined the dragons can survive after death since Godrick's dragon react like it's on its own volition, and the communion seems to work because of the beating hearts.
Btw, the "sadistic mothefckers" bit was hilarious.
EDIT: I say Godfrey instead of Godrick. My bad.
