For SOME REASON- after buying shoes made out of 100% leather my shoes and feet don't smell?? Anyone else have this? The moment I wear tenis shoes or anything else made of synthetic materials ESP plastic my feet smell. My feet still sweat when theyre inside leather shoes but there is ZERO smell. This is from someone who has tried EVERYTHING. Deodorant, socks, anti fungal foot powder, etc.
Leather is more breathable vs the other materials you mentioned so some of that sweat is being vented out vs trapped in the shoe. I used to have what I thought were excessively sweaty feet and what helped me was putting baby powder in my socks.
Ugh. I'm so dumb and embarrassed. I was using anti fungal cream at night, but I kept wearing my Tom's without socks -- I couldn't figure out why the foot peeling wouldn't go away.
I need this but like, I feel you can only get specialised creams with the benozyl peroxide where I live, otherwise the cost gets insane with the cleansers ☠
Really!? It's a very common, effective, and usually super affordable acne medicine, im really surprised this isn't the case everywhere! Can you order them online, perhaps? Maybe amazon to cut cost on delivery? (Amazon is a terrible company and i hate to give them business, but sometimes it becomes necessary.)
I've heard using the aztec clay powder with apple cider vinegar can help, but I've also seen some accounts of people being irritated by it... so idk. What helped my underarm smell go away was switching away from aluminum/baking soda/talc deodorants (oddly enough I know), but I know that's not for everyone
@DefinitelyNotAFerret yeah I tried lume or one of the new "clean" deos and no luck. It smelled HORRIBLE, worse than my pits LOL and still sweated a ton
@@MariaSanchez-fj9mh hi, maybe the cause of your stinky underarm is hyperhidrosis. i think if it is the cause, you need to do botox to reduce the sweat. that just my opinion, you need to visit your dermatologist :)
I've had the same pair of sneakers every day since senior year of high school and I'm now 24 lol I _do_ , however, clean them once a month and use deodorizing powder once a week. These are also New Balance sneakers so not cheap in the slightest
The first photo showed the woman’s feet peeling. My son is having that same issue but it’s his hands. And it’s been going on for weeks now. Anyone have any suggestions as to why?
Your feet stink, let’s fix it😂 Dr. Dray you make me laugh!😆👣
And don’t forget to buy socks with high percentage of cotton👍🏻
Excited to be here this evening Dr Dray . Thanks for addressing this issue have a good night.
What about Europe? There is no BP 😢😢😢

yep!!! cheap synthetics shoes are not good for smelly feet leather is breathable and doesnt grow bacteria as easily

Sometimes it can also be because you didn't wash and/or dried properly between your toes! Never had an issue with smell just by doing this

You read my mind
A simple, long lasting solution is the PodoPhylus antimicrobial Insoles that slowly release iodine gas. They work within 2 days and last for months
..:u know that’s not going to end well… was so funny to me! 😆You ain’t never lied!
-Love ur videos. One of ur biggest fans. 💐👍🏼✌️👋🙂
Wish I saw this before I spent 6 months in Japan :')
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fun Fact: Exactly when she says the word barefoot, it appears a woman holding what seem to be barefoot shoes😆.
🧛🏻♀️🖤
A very good method I’m using is spray the bleach water mix in your shoes, leave it overnight, once a week, you be great
panoxyl in europe/switzerland?
There’s brands with the same active ingredient
“Your foot stink”
Thanks Dr Dray🤣
Im curious. I had cancer as a child, ever since than I only sweat from my head. Wonder if I see a dermatologist or doctor lol

I use a benzoyl peroxide 10% bar all over my body then follow up with Lume. Works great!!
Does tea tree oil work good for this too?
I can’t stand wearing socks with my shoes…it’s so uncomfortable
???
??
What about soap with salicylic acid in it?
Benzoyl peroxide is better for odor
I use the panoxyl on my underarms and they still smell lol 🤷♀️
Have you tried leaving them on for a few minutes before washing them off? They do need time to completely work.
@@purplexylitol I do! I've tried it for months now too

Soaking feet in a tub of black tea helps too
Mmmmhhh.... fancy ! I might try it, even though my feet don't smell. Something tells me it would be awsome for my skin.
Wool socks and not wearing the same sneakers 2 days in a row so they can air out.
I’m too poor to get another pair of shoes bruh. Shoes frickin expensive.

My family has I guess a genetic thing. Our feet and hands do not sweat, have you ever heard of that before?
Me watching this while wearing the same socks for days and going to the gym daily
You know, all things considered I appreciate the honesty

Try the bpo and foot fungal powder. Otherwise bring him to a derm or a provider specializing in skin
👍
Wash your shoes
My Sperrys smell like Fritos
