- Seth (George Clooney) and Katherine (Juliette Lewis) are now the last two survivors left in the bar. Vampires are surrounding them and they are almost out of ammo. Streams of morning light enter through bullet holes in the building, buying them time. When Carlos (Cheech Marin) and his bodyguards finally arrive, they blast the door open killing all the vampires, allowing Seth and Katherine to escape.

LOL, when I was working hospital security, this was my running joke with the nursing staff. Some of the nurses had seen the movie, and got the joke, and some hadn't.
Seth lost his brother.
Kate also lost her family.
I watched this movie with my late wife on our First Date. Neither of us ever watched a preview. It was great

@@melquizedec I just thought it was a funny observation now that I’m older and I never noticed it when I saw this movie when it came out. I thought it was kind of a cool movie back then, but being older and looking back at some of the films at those times it’s just funny how differently you see things
Put a cardboard box on the ground with the opening downward. Get in. Its dark. Poke a hole anywhere on the sides and top of the box, and light will come in. It doesn't have to come directly from the sun. Light reflects off surfaces.

No joke, my aunt said the possessed girl in The Exorcist had "crazy eyes" when her eyes were glowing yellow when she became possessed. I was like, "wtf"? Since when does having a mental disorder result in ocular bioluminescence? I guess some people like my aunt and Cheech Marin think it does. Go figure.

March 31, 2022----One thing I DIDN'T expect was the vampires exploding from a disco ball reflecting the sunlight. Another reason this movie was so original/unique. Got back into modeling, but going for 1/35 realistic zombie/apocalypse dioramas. Maybe have some people fighting off zombies in a bar named the Titty Twister?

I still think Carlos was in on it. He was going to come back after they'd been slaughtered, and would have kept all the cash for himself. He'd probably been doing it for years, helluva way to cover your tracks AND keep those bastards fed.

If you watch the series he’s in on it they got it on Netflix but I like to think this and the series version are two different universes and two different endings since the series changed some stuff and expanded on the story

1:36 is one of my favorite shots of people running from an explosion. Usually it's like 1 or 2 people running away but you got 5 people hauling ass and it adds to the action of the scene.
