My friend Mark and I were at Alexander Palace in 1977 when Fred announced this was the new single. It was so loud our ears were ringing for 3 days afterwards. I wish there was some footage of that concert. Can't find it anywhere just like my friend who I lost contact with but learnt he had passed away.This song always reminds me of him.

my favorite look for Freddie. That hair, those EYES, that nose, cheek bones, jaw line. OMG He was so beautiful. (and don't even get me started on the chest hair and tummy-yes this is the reason I'm going to hell!) He was very handsome later with the mustache and shorter hair, but here he was absolutely perfect.

But note that Brian is playing piano for most of this song. He is a less exuberant player, but has a very delicate and nuanced style.
