Christian Braun said Jamal Murray was laughing at the bottom of the dogpile as his teammates leaped on him after he hit the game-winning shot.
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray had been struggling all night Monday in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. It was all erased when he hit the game-winning shot as time expired to send the sold-out Ball Arena crowd into a frenzy.
The shot of the season completed an improbable comeback that erased a 20-point deficit to extend Denver's winning streak over Los Angeles to 10 consecutive games.
The 101-99 victory also gives the Nuggets a 2-0 lead in the playoff-opening series, which shifts to Los Angeles for the next two matchups.
