So pretty! Can this be done with crushed stained glass on a clear glass background?
Yes it definitely could. I always caution working with resin on glass though. For me it has worked out fine but some people have had glass break as the resin cures. I think it has to do with temperature. I live in a pretty mild climate.

Thank you 🥰😊 nothing in particular gave me the cells. I feel like using that heat gun attachment and a lot of heat can give you cells ally with mica pigments for me anyways especially this brand.

Thank you! Yes if I poured resin then it was already mixed with the mica. I dropped the alcohol directly on the crush glass.

Tony M Art Thank you 😊 blues are my favorite! I’m sure you could glue it. Not sure wether you would want to do it first or last. Some people like the glass on top so you can get more of the shine effect. I’m fine either way though I like texture!
Can i stick the pieces of glass before using hair blower so the pieces dont move away ?
I would like to know if I have a backsplash I can’t take off how can I pour onto that with my countertop it can’t be took off for my bathroom

I just cannot seem to get my resin to move!! I have this attachment and all...what am i doing wrong? Mine actually started to burn on me today. sigh...
Debi Allard mm what kind of resin are you using and what temperature are you working in? I have heard of this but never experienced it. I also know that some plastic cups, if your using them can cause resin to set up to quickly.
@@LilmizzMarie Thank you for getting back to me.... I use Pro Marine, i am on the high setting on my gun. High setting is 1112 degrees, max. low setting is 572 degrees max. BTW, I love all of your work. I am always watching for new!
@@LilmizzMarie Thank you for getting back to me! I use a 1500 watt heat gun with attachment. I use high setting which is 1112 degrees max. Low would be 572 degrees. I use pro marine resin and the same cups as you. Do you run the gun across for a longer time than shown to warm it enough to move? Or is the video pretty accurate. Thank you again... I absolutely love your work, and love this soft effect so much. But Im having trouble moving the resin.
Debi Allard I also use pro marine for pieces that don’t have to much white in them, I like the resin and use it quite a bit. I’ve never had my pro marine do that though. My heat gun only has a high and low setting, it could be that the heat gun is to high. Also resin can be very picky about temp. Anywhere around 70 degree is good to cold or to hot could make it set up.
If your using plastic cups maybe switch to silicone mixing cups, I don’t know which exactly but some plastic cups make resin heat up.

Lynn Wegiel Thank You! I do not remember exactly how much. How I get ready is I use the resin calculator on the Art resin website. Just go to google and type in resin calculator it will be at the top and you can put in any measurements.
