This is gorgeous!!
In my opinion, as an artist for the last 50 years, no plan is the best plan. Go with your gut and you can't go wrong. And if it does go "wrong" (in relation to your vision), change your vision and work with what you have. In the event something isn't salvageable (and there will always be someone who likes a piece you hate), trash it or cover it in gesso and start over. Even the masters did this. We know today because we have the tech to be able to see what is below a current painting. The masters covered the original and repainted the piece all the time. They also gave their "crap" pieces to another artist under their tutelage, who covered it and started over. Many valuable paintings have been discovered by tech being able to see through the layers to the original.
I have to say that I'd never thought to treat resin like an acrylic pour. Honestly, it works better in resin as there's a longer working time than in pure acrylic paint. You've inspired me!
The finished piece is very pretty but my favorite look that had me think 'WOW' was at the 5:10 mark. That was truly beautiful!!
Sam's Girl25 I agree! That was beautiful!
My thoughts exactly- it was perfect then, such a shame...
I thought the exact same thing! I was screaming, "leave it alone, it's beautiful! & then later she said, "I think I've overworked it!"
I agree!! Def overworked it. It was a masterpiece from the beginning!
I agree with all of them. You ruined it a long time ago. It went from beautiful to MEH.
This is what I've been looking for to match my Java color kitchen cabinets...... you've just saved me a heap of color coordination problems. Thank you Debra Smith a forever fan and BFF in my head.
Very pretty... I love that there is not a lot of chit chat.just work and direction!
I loved them all but especially 6.10 it reminds me of a lily. Gorgeous colours, my fav.
that's refreshing! after seen a bunch of guys making counter tops, finally i descovered that you can move the support and manipulate the matter. oh, now i' m pretty sure i can do it. thank you so much for inspiring us. your creation is the color' s poetry. i can watch at this all day long, really. is like to fly over a magic ocean. loooooove it.
Love these colors.
I think it looks beautiful.
The blue makes it like an
ocean. 👍👍👍
I think it is beautiful. That’s why I clicked on it to see how you did it. Awesome job and I subscribed. Looking forward to more .
Debro it's Beautiful plus I love it when you don't give up. BRAVOOOOO
I really liked the way it was in the beginning. It looked like you were looking down on water and mountains, that was a beautiful view to me. Thanks for sharing your technique.
If reminds me of a possibly a planet exploding and just scattering thru space. Beautiful work. *Chris*
Those 4 colors together are truly magical
This looks really awesome! I'm amazed at how much one can do with resin, but resin pour painting looks fun!
Absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your talents with us all!❤
It’s outstanding. I didn’t know that you could touch the edges with hand or add colours to the parts that you’re not happy with. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏👌👌❤️
Absolutely stunning! I can't wait to do it! And I love that you shared all of the details so that I can get the same colors (they match my office!). The only thing that was a negative was the music. Some nice, soft night time jazz or some spa music might have been less distracting. But the art was THE BEST! Thank you, Debra!
At the 4:20 mark it was perfect in my opinion. I loved the finished piece as well. Great job 👏
i actually think this came out great! I really like the colors you chose...I like that you have your paint in bottles, keeps it neat and clean. Thank you!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I thought it was beautiful from the get go but I love love the final result.
This was just awesome! I’ve only done one resin project and I got a lot from watching this. Mesmerizing.
I loved the colors and the final outcome! ❤️😍
I can't look anymore. Sometimes the process is more satisfying than the result👩🏼🎨(been there)
Very pretty , the gold in it is beautiful mixed with the other color combo. Great job!!!
Thanks for sharing.🌺
Your video setup was perfect for me. I can actually see your process. Thanks
This looks like a real Nebula. Amazing! This is the first one of you i see and it absolutely is the best i have seen on youtube. What a beauty. I would even pay to have this in my posession. Subscribed.
EXTRAORDINARIO!!!FUERA DE SERIE.BELLA COMBINACIÓN DE COLORES.UNA GENIA!!
The colors chosen mixes together so well. I admire your work 😭❤
Cheers from Argentina
Outstanding work, Debra! Wonderfully executed! ~ This would blend in beautifully in my living room! These are my coloures---including turquoise drapes and shears. I subscribed. Your work is healing. I can *feel* the coloures. Bless you!
Thank you for sharing! It was awesome how the colors developed.
So pretty!! The colors, wow.
I love the palette selection, Bravo.
This is a beautiful piece, your work is wonderful, thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Beautiful!! Everything is wow 😍.
And I like the way you filmed it and the way you explain your steps
It’s interesting to see the numbers of times you are dissatisfied with your piece. I saw numerous occasions where the painting looked perfect. Of course the end result is gorgeous! Only thing I would have done different was to have some tiles ready to capture the paint poured off the canvas, as coasters.
stopping is the most difficult, but also the most important thing in art
It's still very beautiful but I loved it the most at 5:40 . I love the choice of colours and really it's still very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Debra....I loved it at 4:00 but it is still beautiful in every form. But I absolutely love your choice of colours. Great job.
Magnifique !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
This is some of the best colorwork I've seen.
Gorgeous 😍😍👌🏻👍🏻 love the combinations of colors and how the golds looks😍💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
It’s gorgeous love colours it’s like land and ocean
I love this piece! Beautiful work!
I think it’s imperfectly beautiful! 😊
Beautiful Piece. Love it. 💟😊😍
ABSOLUTELY Gorgeous
Your work is simply amazing! Watching you tilt the canvass to get your composition together is no different than using a paint brush. You, are, for the lack of better words, a TRUE MASTER!
this was added after:
You stated at the finish point that it had been overworked, so I have to say, that is in the eye of the artist. Having been an artist myself for so many years that I am almost afraid to see the number(!) I have learned when I thought a piece of work was over done, I added to much outlining, (I use lines to make shadows, just a technique I learned many centuries ago, people around me do not agree. And I do not think you have overworked this piece. There are quite a few artists on CZcams that I would say yes, they overwork it. Especially in pour painting. One to many colors, and this technique of creating cells. OMG! It's like, the artist that dies with the most cells on their canvass wins! And it has gone to, not how many, but HOW BIG!! I watched one video where the cells overtook the whole painting, which had been a great composition, and killed it. It looked like some type of huge bug had crawled on it and laid eggs'! And I, as usual, digress. Simply put, looking thru your work, I see nothing that I would say even comes close to being overworked. I would just ask that you not stop making these beautiful pieces of art.
That is absolutely gorgeous and your colors are wonderful. I love it.
Wow. Beautiful.
Thank you SO much for your help - I am SO afraid to try this but think I can try now!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Amazing no other words.
Thank you! I learned so much! Love the colors you used
Very beautiful.
Thank you!
Well, I LOVE it!
The blue you used is gorgeous. I tend to overwork too, it takes a great deal of restraint to stop. With that said, I love how you recovered the painting and it looks beautiful.
OMG this is gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous
You seem to do what I often do and thats fuss when it's perfect just to get bit more just so or that is what my other half reminds me, to be honest I think you made at least a dozen beautiful unique designs. Fantastic concept using colours in resins i loved watching it flow👏👏👍
Very pretty!😊❤️

Super beau .
its crazy how different people have different tastes, for example I liked it best around the 5 min mark lol.
Looking into trying this, and It turned out great. About a dozen times I said stop tilting it because it looked finished to me. Like watching Bob Ross do a painting and thinking its done.
Beautiful piece.
It turned out beautiful. New subscriber, the art & your name did it.
