    For anyone needing a cost comparison pop over to the main group “Hyperion epoxy free tumblers and crafts” where you will find we have broken it down step by step.
    It works out about $1.50 more per cup to use HP. Saying that, the amount of time HP saves is invaluable ❤️

      I calculated Hyperion at $2.89 more per cup …. Hyperion 11 coats at the suggested 7.5ml = 82.5ml and Crystalac used 17 coats at the recommended 2.5ml or less (would be less for those little cups) = 42.5 - which is 40 ml less - wow …. Hyperion 2.5 liter (2500 ml) is $135.00 (.054 per ml) and Crystalac Brite Tone 1 gallon (3785.14 ml) is $138.50 (.037 per ml) ….. cups cost Hyperion $4.46 / Crystalac $1.57 wow!

      I think by your calculations you would be using the same amount of product per cup. You don’t. The video shows you that alone. It’s almost double the amount of BT to HP
      If you want to be fair on your calculations as the video has been. You need to take that into consideration 😊
      We’ve worked it out and it’s visible in the main group that it’s $1.50 extra per cup for HP.
      Take away all the time you save,which is days, the comparison becomes obsolete.
      If we added how many minutes/hours the extra coats take and the extra time you wait using BT you would find the BT is a whole lot more expensive 😊 food for thought ❤️

      @@Hyperion_uk no, it is more coats 17 vs 11 but the coats used for Hyperion use a lot more product - the video said they used 11 coats with Hyperion at 7.5 ml per coat would be 82.5ml -- the video also shows 17 coats with Crystalac at 2.5ml per coat that is 42.5ml -- which is 40ml less than used on the Hyperion … I calculated correctly

      @@michellehansen1543 even taking this cup and your calculations into account this is a basic cup. You go to a more in-depth cup and your talking a huge different in coats. Even just chunky glitter instead of fine makes a huge difference. The difference in prices becomes even less in those circumstance.

    I'm still using my Crystalac BT and once I get done with that, I think I'm going to give Hyperion a try! I'm super excited for the faster times ( 30 Minutes & the 2 HRS recoat). The one question I have about it is, how much of the product do you use? I've seen a video where you use between 7-10 ML of product. With Crystalac, you just put it on in thin coats without taking account of an amount of product, just thin coats. Also, Do you know the font that you used?

    • @Kruftisg
      @Kruftisg  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, 7.5ml is recommended. Because I think if u use too little, you get streakiness (because it’s fast drying product), and if u use too much you get pooling. If I’m being honest Ive only gotten pooling once (will be showing in the upcoming video!). But both is easily rectified. 😊 and…. can’t remember the font I used… 😩
