I miss my childhood in Mamprobi, we used to work for a bread baker, most of the neighborhood kids our job is to clean the leaves and grease it, mostly to be paid a loaf of bread it was really a fun job all the neighborhood kids love doing. It started all the way in Jamestown and now it's been done across Regions in Ghana 🇬🇭

I use the eat baami blodo growing up in La, Abormi. There's another leaf called aluguntugui from the soar sop leaf and that one too was so delicious and the smell was nice. I don't know why nowadays all the good stuff we use to enjoyed have been replace by artificial stuff. nice to see that my people still kept the tradition going.

Because we think that is a sign of progress. In my village we are experiencing a dry spell and yet people don't want to grow drought resistant crops like sorghum because they are considered old fashioned 🤦🏾‍♀️. They would rather starve and wait for free relief maize from the government. Smh.

Wow, very interesting video to be able to see the bread baking process upon close ❣️ Love the fact that this bread has no chemical additives, pure natural product, this is why I prefer to bake my bread at home. Supermarket bread always have additives where I live & even most of the Bakeries as well.
Wholesome to see how the family (I presume they are family members) are working together & the business has been thriving for so long, it means they have a quality product, may God continue to bless their work/bakery ✨🙌🏼💞🫶🏼✨❣️

It’s filling compared to the other 3 , I wonder wat the ingredient is that changes the game🤔 American bread is it’s own thing too, different breads worldwide🤦🏼‍♀️

      Hello Angela 👋
I welcome on board, and thanks for watching ❤✌️ so basically this bread 🍞 bakery is in Ghana 🇬🇭 (James town) and they use leaves in their bakings. Very healthy and the taste is absolutely delicious 😋🤩 and heavy as well.. so as said in the video it a generational thing and they have held till now. And most of the comments I received really testify that people really know them and they have authentic bread in the market.... I have other videos about Ghana local dishes that you'll like. THANK YOU 😊
