      I currently use an iPhone 7 Plus but these photographs need to be with a more advanced model.
      Being just a 9th grader, with a passion for iPhone photography and limited pocket money; which is the bare minimum model required for taking good photographs as shown on your videos? 🤔

      @@gustav_a.mozumder2011 I have a 12MP OPPO A5 released in 2020.
      It's more than 4 years old & it's my only camera. I learnt so much photography & editing with this phone. I created an instagram Portfolio, a CZcams tutorial channel, a Telegram channel on photography & editing with the knowledge I gained through this phone. I even print my photos a4 And Quality is insane! It's a reason for me to be happy.
      Today, most of phone cameras have better quality cameras. Mine is old and low megapixel count. But I still manage to take great pictures controlling the external factors as well as camera settings by external softwares like Lightroom.

    2:11 tourist viewing deck is also usually built with tourist safety as the main consideration. Lots of accidents due to tourists ignore this designated spot because they wanted different in their photos. Just keep this in mind and put your safety first before you go to different spots for “not boring” photos for your social media!

    I enjoy your videos and thanks for the tips, but I gotta be “that guy”.
    You are inadvertently sending a message here when you step off the designated park trail and stand very close to what appears to be a potentially unstable bluff. There’s a safety issue and there’s an environmental impact issue. There are reasons why parks invest in boardwalks with railings. They include keeping people safe, but also preventing damage.
    I’ve been a volunteer naturalist and docent and I’ve seen people do some incredibly dumb things to try to get that perfect Instagram photo.
    Ok, I’ll get off my soapbox now.
    Keep enjoying nature and taking photos.

    wow, your teaching is superb. I've been watching you for hours, after buying the 15 pro. I happily went to a wildlife sanctuary yesterday to use what I just learned...................I took 163 pictures and NONE worth saving .........Boohoo. I do like ONE picture of them all but it was definitely an accident and I wish I could post it here for an explanation of how it happened. All I know is that for some reason I had used portrait mode to take a picture of a bird.

    I noticed this year when I took pictures (iPhone 14 Pro) of the beautiful Pennsylvania Fall woods, about one second after I opened the image to view it, the color faded out drastically, leaving me with a picture that looked nothing at all like the woods I just saw. What was happening? Your color looks so good!

    What f stop are you using ? F/8 ?

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  Před 4 měsíci

      The photos were taken using the Photo mode. Therefore, no aperture was adjusted. We used the native aperture which captured the whole scene. If you use Portrait Mode, F8 is definitely a good f stop for landscapes.

  • @lazyalligator1
    @lazyalligator1 Před měsícem

    Why do you use the 2x lens? It is just a digital zoom of the main lens isn’t it? This means that you are severely reducing the quality of the photo. You could just use main lens and then crop in post. Yeah?

    • @iPhone_Photography_School
      @iPhone_Photography_School  Před měsícem

      Emil used an iPhone 11 PRO, which offers a 2x lens as optical zoom. Therefore, the picture quality is not being reduced. We highly suggest to use the optical lenses (if possible) to get the highest quality possible from your device :)
