  • This project has been in the works for quite some time and Dave is excited to see it finished. Whether it be for hunting, heading to the range, hauling your squad around at a match, or just riding the trails UTVs can be a lot of fun. When Dave started down this path he learned a lot along the way and also applied his own skills to make this machine the ultimate range UTV. In this video we go over why the Honda Pioneer was chosen, an overview of the accessories and modifications made so far, why this is the best UTV for the range or play and what to expect in the future videos. If there is a video you want to see or questions you have, sound off in the comment section. Thanks for watching!

I would guess if I were just swapping the front fender it could be a 1-2 hour job maybe a little quicker. The most helpful directions were from the Honda LED headlight instructions as it covers front fender removal. Some of the harness swap etc that wasn’t covered was pretty straight forward.

I have a 2021 Pioneer 1000 3 good machine but Honda does a lousy job on fit and finish. When you spend 19k on a machine it should not rattle like an old horse and buggy. Seems the technology available today they could build better at the price they charge.

Not quite thankfully. I can cover costs in my final QA UTV video. My last video I was planning was to answer as many questions and comments that wasn’t covered in the videos. Some of the items weren’t cheap though :-)

Having driven a Honda pioneer 1000 5 and a Yamaha RMAX 1000 4, their is no comparison. The Yamaha is light years ahead in every category. Enough said.

. Read your Book. You loose the weight of 2000 lbs for each person on board reduced your tow rating by there weight. . SO if you have 760 lbs of People and gear in the bike. IT cuts down your over all tow rating. Read your book.
Agree.. HONDA SHould have used the void spaces for storages and gear.

Here is a great inexpensive ($40) addition to your Honda side by side. These are split mirrors with anti vibration mounts. This guy does a great review:

@@GunsandTactics Sorry, my fingers must have been out of sink. They are split distance anti vibration mirrors and look really nice on the lines of the Honda.

Pricing varies so much around the country that it’s not easy. Plus I bought mine just before Covid panic so you’d be upset when I told you what I paid. Sorry you’re so upset
