You made the right choice, having a professional flooring company is worth it to pay for the tedious labor! Take your time, everything can’t be done the same year! Even though you want it done asap, it’s okay to pace yourselves and take on each project at your convenience. It’s tough doing so much work inside & outside , especially if you have full time jobs. In due time your home will come together & you will both be proud of the outcome! A good home brings peace, love & warmth in every room because of the people who live there. It’s not the material things. If a home is vacant for a considerably long period of time it deteriorates because no people are living there. So this proves that the people who reside in a home is the heart & soul of the place! The floors & paint job looks extraordinary! I personally think the fireplace should be left alone , especially since it matches the flooring. It looks amazing & will be more cozy once you bring the furniture in that space. Hi, new subscriber here. The floor looks great. I’d leave the fireplace alone for now. Wait til you decorate some more and then decide. Once you paint it, you can’t go back. The fireplace also matches the floor colors really well. That’s a great idea to save the intact terra-cotta tiles for later use. Congrats on your new home 🎉🎉🎉
hello.. what I would like to see when time permits is a sewing how-to and back story - like when did you start sewing. for this vid: 1) did you already have a gathering that the table/chairs were used for ; 2) why not go with actual hardwood. I like the floor color. 3) master bedroom/bath makeover
I like the fireplace as it is. It's good to maintain a bit of the original charm in a home of this kind with the actual stone used for the fireplace while modernizing other parts. Just my thoughts...somewhat late, but nevertheless...
At first I wasn't sure about your color choice... but omg you chose wisely! it looks so good with the new and old in your home. Too many people pick the wrong color and undertone for lvp or laminate flooring... but you nailed it!!

Did you go with shorter base series because of cost? I noticed the full plank you got was the Modin line which is longer, wider and has a much thicker wear layer (40 mil vs 20 mil). The base is still a great product. Looks great!
Yes! I was considering the Modin, but ended up going with base bc of budget. Base is great and I love it but definitely would have gotten Modin if i had the budget for it!
