It wasn't until last year that I realised it's the exact same site that I go on holiday to. I'm going again in August - it's weird knowing I've walked the same roads as the legend himself.

I like how the interview exchange at 17:51 plays out almost exactly the same as it does in the Office when Brent meets the Oggmonster. Ricky/Brent starts with some fairly standard height jokes and Steve/Oggmonster plays along until it gets serious when Ricky/Brent calls him a goggle-eyed freak.
I'm trying to listen to these without headphones for the first time, and I can't find a volume which allows me to hear Karl properly and not jump out of my skin every time Ricky says something.

He has done it yeah. He did a show called Hello Ladies in 2011 and its on youtube. Its pretty good and its the precursor to the sitcom 'Hello Ladies' he did in 2013.
Him half-assing a lot of his bits and introducing the shit clues in rockbusters probably pissed them off a lot. He started taking a lot of vacations and moaning a lot more as the series went on.
TheTerrorUforgot I doubt they were ever pissed off about that. They realized that's what makes him funny. It's just that they actually became close friends and Ricky seems to love irritating his friends.
I have a feeling it started out nice but the more they dealt with him the more his eccentricities and nonsense got on their nerves, thus the increased nastiness later in. We all have that ONE friend..
Can somebody please repost all season 1 with the sound levels evened out, that would be a Godsend. This 1st season s comedy gold but it's hard to enjoy when you're constantly adjusting the volume so your ears don't burst when Ricky bursts into hysterics. Meanwhile Karl is whispering like a mouse in a box. I know somebody out there can do this.
