In this eye-opening video clip, I dive into what God’s discipline truly is and how it differs from punishment. You’ll learn why bad circumstances aren’t God’s way of dealing with your sins and how His discipline fits seamlessly into our everyday lives.

The Father is always teaching us. He limits our suffering. Teaching isn't a violent, painful thing. Our Father uses all circumstances good and bad for good. He takes the oppurtunity to teach us through the circumstance. He does not make the circumstance to teach us.

Amen, " the wages of sin is death". God is not on the throne of judgment but on the throne of grace. Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace!

the god that killed everyone on the planet in a flood, the guy that cries himself to sleep cos he loves you but even though he makes the rules he can't stop you being burned alive, after he's drowned you of course. that god?
the god that apparently needs a boat and needs a human to build it for him? the god who never thought of putting a fence around an apple tree? the nincompoop god?

@HarryNicNicholas If you believe He did those things, then you know that He is real and that He exist. So, your task should be to find out why instead of ignorantly spewing out insults because you don't understand- mmmmk. Grace and peace to you.

God's discipline goes hand in hand with his love for his people and can include humbling even his prophet Elijah who commited the sin of pride that he was the only one left three times before God who was forebearing with him to confess his sin but did not, hence was humbled and disciplined, was replaced by Elisha, then retired and transported on a chariot of fire to an isolated place on earth to die for everyone will die someday, both the godly and unrighteous. God is truly amazing in his love and the attributes of his love that in the case of Elijah included forebearing, humbling, and disciplining.

Woah, please seek Jesus for truth in all things. Jesus has actually punished me for a sin that I was falling back in, the sin of pride , keep in mind this was AFTER I became born again. God will absolutely let you know personally if you are being punished because he let me know, I was punished by being inflicted with insomnia for about 3 months, laying in that bed taught me a lot of lessons about God's love and his heart and his Mercy his compassion and forgiveness but most of all it taught me about the fear and love of God, seek Jesus for yourself for truth in all things. The Bible itself says that God will correct Those whom he loves. If you are not being corrected or punished at some point, then you are not his that's what the Bible says.

if you want to say "jesus said" you have to prefix it with "eusebius said that josephus said that
    matthew said that mark said"
no one has a clue what jesus said, he could have been the town drunk for all you know. and who wrote
matthew? cos it wasn't anyone called matthew.
