I have Fuji and Sony cameras, but I pick up my ZV1 the most by far. It’s a great blend of quality and convenience.

Ya, it's a way to get a Sony RX100 V or whatever for way less, but with the same features! The buttons are set up ergonomically for video, but surprisingly all of the RX100's features are actually there! Instead of a mode dial, they have a mode button and the viewfinder shows the mode options just like a dial. Saves space and allows for a button to record video to be front and center. Other features are there and can be programmed to where ever you want them to be! Using pretty much ANY key or function menu you want.
I looked on eBay for a used RX100 V and they were all around $800 - 900 or more.
      Too much for my budget.
Then, I found out how similar, actually pretty much identical the ZV1 is to the RX100 V is, with simply a different layout, and started looking at the ZV1. Most were at around $600, but some sellers didn't know the huge difference between the ZV1 & the ZV1F. So, there are several people, as of July 2024, selling their ZV1 for the price used ZV1F's are going for! S C O R E !
I have my cherry ZV1 sitting in my lap as I write this. It arrived about 10 days ago and I only paid $352 shipped! Priced as a ZV1F, but if you look closely at the pictures of the camera you're actually buying in the listing, you can clearly see the correct model number right on the camera you're thinking of buying! Plain as day! 👍
Well, for $352 instead of around $800 for a RX100 V, that makes me one very happy camper - For Sure!
      💯😎🤘

The reasons I love my Sony ZV1 so much is the superb auto focus!! It simply doesn't hunt and fish for correct focus. It's fast and accurate! I see so many CZcams videos where the camera is constantly trying to get good focus...Back and forth it hunts. Not this ZV1. Many say Sony has the very best auto focus on the market right now.
I also love the articulating screen. I'm 67 years old and been taking photos since I was 13. I used to think I had to have an electronic viewfinder because I had viewfinders on camera growing up. Years ago, I laughed when camera makers left off the viewfinder and just had a screen on the back. But!... This screen of so damn clear and bright, especially if you adjust the brightness control in the menu... It has a sunny day setting that makes it VERY BRIGHT! With the way I can adjust this screen to ANY angle I want, it makes shooting from lower perspectives easier, more stealth, and opens up new thinking. I can angle it straight at my eyes no matter where I have the camera! Imagine doing street and having the camera by your side walking down the street. Leave it on 24mm f1.8 and set shooting mode to continuous. Walk down the street looking at the viewfinder by your side, very stealthy, and shoot multiple images rapid fire and you'll end up being much more successful because you'll have so many more photos to choose from. Getting you that awesome shot! With digital, we never have to worry about how much film we are using, so shoot away, and choose the best from many... And not just "hope" you got one single image to come out like you wanted. Odds are much more in your favor if you have many photos to choose from of the same scene or person. Get extra batteries to carry with you and a big sd card to hold them all!
I also really like all of the many, many options this camera has. You can literally set it to any way you can possibly imagine!
Biggest benefit of having all these features is the complete programability to place your favorite features onto whatever key you want on the cameras body, but also wherever you want in the Fn (function) menu, accessible from the Fn button on the back. You can really load up those features because those menus have all sorts of button to place them on. Awesome!
There are all sorts of great features on this camera... Too many to list here, but that's what makes it so incredible to use! Once you learn it, you'll find it has most of the features of many pro cameras bodies costing over $2000 bucks! Sure, not every single one, but all you'll ever need!
    Next great thing is simple:
    Pocketable.
It's so small, but mighty, it allows for real creativity, but you can take it everywhere you go! I literally have it with me whenever I leave the house... Right in my pocket!
Sure, cellphones have nice snap shot camera now a days. But the lenses are very limited, the low light capabilities suck, the sensor is tiny, and they're more a toy than a serious camera. Not a serious photographers camera, that's for sure. So this ZV1 gives you the pocketable feature of a cellphone, with the great capabilities and gorgeous sharpeness, even at f1.8, of a very serious pro camera!
    It's kinda unique. 💯😎🤘

@@KOrnhOliO1 it’s really unique!! I’ve been experimenting with many DSLR’s this year and switched to shooting a few fujis. I sold my x100s this year because it just wasn’t as small as the ZV1 but also had a fixed 28mm which I didn’t like I couldn’t zoom in or out or change the lens. With the ZV1 you can also purchase add ons to add filters and different macro lenses to make it even more versatile!

I’ve got a new street photography video coming out this week featuring an old Nikon DSLR, it’s not about the camera you use, but the artist behind the lens!!! I love my Fuji cameras - but my Sony zv1 was my first vlog camera and I used it for street for about a year before I was able to afford my Fuji cameras. Never tried the x-e4, but I used the XA3 for some portraits - those videos with the XA3 are available on my channel as well :)

Search CZcams for "How to set up the Sony ZV1". Many videos will pop up, some for video settings and some for photo settings. Since you have a screen for both in the Fn menu accessible from the back button. Choose all you like the best and lock them in for quick and easy access.
Set up favorite photo features and favorite video features and put on their menu Sony has for each. There's even a 3rd screen for other favorites.
You'll love how easy this makes your favorite features to get to. 💯😎🤘

I’m not sure if this is a concern and I don’t wanna be a Karen but maybe posting photos of ppls faces online might be a bit odd. Here’s a cautionary tale, once there was this family I knew of a single mom and her son (my friend) and she’d managed to get away from her very abusive husband (beating her within inches of death) and a news station went and took photos of a playground at the school and he was in the photo! The husband saw the photo tracked them down and killed his mom :( I really love the work you’re doing but maybe be careful yk (tell me if I’m coming off rude I’m just idk scared because of that experience) have a great day bestieeee

If you’re in a public space, you have the opportunity to have a photo taken of you. Tourists in Vancouver take lots of photos. I’ve been in a situation when my family was in hiding and guess what - we didn’t go to public places at that time. I don’t take photos of kids in parks, I shoot sidewalks in busy neighbourhoods.
