I'm so glad you reacted to this song! It's a great one to introduce you to Miss Saigon. The orchestrations for this version are a bit different; it's sort of like a remix, so it's a bit different in the actual show. In the show, Eva is Kim, the main character. Rachelle's character Gigi, while in it, isn't a full main character. There is a proshot of this show from when Eva played the lead role for the 25th Anniversary! It is absolutely wonderful and it is available for purchase and probably rental! Thank you for the wonderful reaction!

The plot mostly follow's Eva's (Kim) story. Rachelle (Gigi) is in a good portion of it, but I'd say a main character is Eva.

Yes!!! Please react to the whole show on Patreon, it is spectacular. This version with Eva Noblezada is the revival of the show and there is an amazing proshot from the 25 Anniversary with the whole show and a little bonus of songs performed by the original cast members, it is incredible! Oh my goodness you MUST watch this on twitch, Miss Saigon is written by Schönberg and Boublil who wrote Les Miserables, and there’s a recorded performance of the show from 2014 with both Rachelle and Eva in it.
