Fantastic progress. Looks like me and you are at the very same stage 😅. They just finished with the roofing and I am having to choose between Rocksters and DBS roofing.
I am happy to hear that some may bring less than the 0.5 even though that's what has been quoted.
Mine is a hidden roof. The capenters bought Dahoman. Not sure what the difference is between that and the Esa wood though.

Great Project.but pls think about the maintainance in the future.
I just returned from Ghana amd i was shocked to see many houses which were in top shape back in the days but the owners have failed to maintain it.
Thats the problem many house owners in Ghana are facing now.
The bigger n larger you build the higher your maintainance will cost.
Is just a candid advice which one can take or leave

Make sure to add insulation to the roof to prevent extensive heat to the building. Most builders in Ghana do not know essence of adding insulation to the roof but it is really important.

I am at the roofing state with my house and not being in Ghana, which is making it difficult to pick the right company to go for, and if I am going to get the good quality products. The house is by sea, and I have been advised to use aluminum sheets, any input. Thank you 🙏

How about warranties and or repairs for leaking down the line?
The warranty offered by roofing companies pertains solely to the roof covering, rendering it practically worthless in practice. Such warranties often rely on workmanship, and manufacturers typically do not honor claims for leaks unless they result from manufacturing defects, which can be challenging to prove over time. Opting for our own carpenter for the installation allows us to maintain stringent quality control. Additionally, our roofing sheet manufacturer has provided us with a 50-year product warranty, aligning with the standard offered by roofing companies in Ghana. Thanks.

How do you ensure the wood is treated well?
Well you need to ensure you have regular supervision by the site manager and request videos. We’re very lucky to have a great trusting working relationship ship with the staff we work with. Excited for your upcoming project !

We did our research and bought directly from the factory. The manufacturer is Sango Build. Thanks

@princenikki this is a weak excuse. I wouldn't encourage anyone on your channel to build a concrete house in the scorching daily sun. They MUST build with clay. This is called discipline. All that glitters is not gold. Cheers and good luck.

@princenikki You'll sweat like a pregnant fish in that concrete building regardless of how many aircos and windows you have. Ghana will NOT get cool. That's my advise to you. Ask the missionaries why they didn't survive in their concrete buildings, but my ancestors did in the mud house they mocked.
