Other songs by The Black Crows that you should hear: "She Talks To Angels" and "Jealous Again".
Some other songs you might like: "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" by The Georgia Satellites and "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" sung by David Allan Coe. The last one was billed as the perfect country song.

Lenny Kravitz style was highly produced by industry professionals. The Crowes had raw musical talent, put on great live shows.

I've suggested this a few times so far. They will see at 1 of these days. I think they need to do it with the original video though. It's balck and white and has the beautiful model in it on the beach. It sets the tone well for the song.

Written and recorded by legend Otis Redding in 1967. Revived by the Black Crowes in 1990 and turned into a monster hit. These guys bucked the trend of rock music in the 90's and were well-respected.

Amber, you would really appreciate the version of this by 13 year old Courtney Hadwin on America's Got Talent(2018). She definitely has an inner Janis and felt that music flowing through her.

This was actually written by Otis Redding. :) It's been covered by a few bands, including the Grateful Dead, though this is undoubtedly the most famous cover. So glad you guys like it!

"though this is undoubtedly the most famous cover" Well, maybe for you youngsters, but Tom Jones did (recorded) this 1969, for some that's the most famous version. ; ) I suggest you to check it.

@@oldtimer7635 Very nice! Something new for me. Just checked it out (czcams.com/video/2liHY3uVyNY/video.htmlsi=b9QTl3V_Yjz0DBd6). To be clear, though, by "most famous" I mean "most airplay", "most recordings sold", etc. (Not at all a commentary on "quality".). I don't know for sure, of course, but I strongly suspect the Black Crowes version has been heard by more folks.
I attended a New Years Eve concert as we moved from 2019 to 2020. Right after the the midnight champaign bottle's cork popped, the lead singer announced they had one more song to perform and brought the new year (2020) in with "Hard to Handle". They did a great job. Maybe too good. Y'all will remember what a terrible year 2020 was - pandemic, social protests (police killing of George Floyd), natural disasters, killer bees, and on and on. As the band was announcing their next NYE concert, I jokingly requested to the singer that they NOT start another year with "Hard to Handle". :). (I think 2020 was the hardest year to handle, at least in my lifetime so far.)
